This is one of a string of restaurants on the beach just outside the center of town that don't actually have addresses (as far as I know). Others of its ilk are included in major guide books, like Foder's. I'd really like to give this restaurant a review because it was amazing food, fantastic atmosphere, and wonderful, English-speaking staff (a rarity on the island). Thanks!

Gorgeous views, especially watching the sunset. We had the seafood stew which was plenty for us to share. The seafood tasted really fresh and well cooked. Service was a bit slow though. We did come back on another occasion for drinks just for the views and watching the tide come in.

Loved the beef stroganoff and what a bargain. The salmon was also good. All meals are for 2 so you have to agree but shouldn't be a problem - everything we had was great.

This restaurant is located on the beachfront. We sat inside but there are several tables outside as well. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here, we shared the filet Mignon for two with rice and roast potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious! We ended the meal by sharing a yummy brownie. Our bill including a great caipirinha and soft drink plus the 10% service charge came to 177R$. The lovely ambiance and professional service made this a perfect way to end our last evening on Ilha Grande.

This place is a little more expensive than most kilo restaurants but its so worth it and still very good value. The food was delicious, a massive selection and so much flavour. Great vegetarian selection if you're that way inclined. Staff lovely and friendly. Can tell they put love into the cooking.

Beautiful place to eat and have a few drinks. Right on the beach and very relaxing and lovely. We ate here 3 times during our 5 night stay because it was so good. The food was always stunning and so were the cocktails! The location definitely helped. Probably the best situated restaurant. The one night we saw a spectacular lightning storm in the distance and we got a free show with dinner. Quite good wifi too!

We were on a budget and wanted to shelter from the wind. We came here and had 2x Lemon & Sugar Crepes with 2x Caipirinhas.
It took about 30 minutes to get our Crepes but the Caipirinhas were really nice and the cheapest we had seen on the island.
All in all about 30 real for the meal and drinks between 2 of us.

We decided to try Lonier after trying a few of the other surrounding restaurants. The service was ok, we had to wait a while between arriving and being able to order but this seems to be pretty common across Brazil in general. Waiting staff weren't overly attentive and we had to grab their attention several times. The food is pretty pricey, again this is pretty consistent with the surrounding restaurants so if you're on a budget or looking for some lunch try the appetisers, not only are they huge but also good enough to share. We had the filet mignon appetiser and it was lovely, we did order a side of french fries but they never appeared (other than on the bill!). It's not a bad place to eat, it's usually pretty busy which tells you something. My advice, nice place for lunch with the appetisers but there are better more competitively priced places further down the beach.

Inspired by the good reviews here I went searching for Meros Creperia and Pizza place. Circled a few times, then was directed to the Meros Pousada. Sat at what advertised itself as a Mexican food place, but was encouraged by the fact that there were crepes and pizza on the menu. Ordered one of the pizzas and was surprised to receive a tortilla with toppings on it. No oven baked pizza as stated in the reviews... Big mistake. I had to eat the thing and pay over $US10 for it since I had ordered it. I feel cheated. Take this listing off, Trip Advisor!

Expensive and exclusive - especially if you arrive at night - great setting for a James Bond film. Intriguing layout in tropical Gardens and appealing rustic chalets with a jungle background. Strong smell of cleaning products when we entered our chalet - which always means warning signals!! Sure enough, during the night(s) there were strange scratching noises in the roof and high-pitched. screeching noises - from BATS. The following night when we arrived late we actually found “bat poo” on a bed and the chalet didn’t smell good at all. (The cockroach in the bathroom didn’t make us any happier either). The staff were professional, including the kind boatsmen that took us to and fro to our yacht. The choice of breakfast was ordered according to a verbal standard menu - everything was fresh, no complaints there. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant so we can’t comment on the food or the service.
