Karczma jakich wiele w Polsce. Udaje styl góralski choć budynek na szkielecie żelbetowym :)
Odwiedziliśmy rodzinę w Iławie i wybraliśmy się na obiad. Wybór padł na Łabędzia bo blisko. Odczucia mieszane.
Na plus:
- obsługa, miła i sprawna mimo, że były w tym samym czasie 2 imprezy
- plac zabaw dla dzieci, choć mały i przy parkingu to jednak jest
-jedzenie, smaczne (choć nie wszystko) ale nie powalające
Na minus:
- porcje, nawet te małe są za duże. I nie tylko dla dzieci
- część potraw bez smaku lub z jego nadmiarem. Buraczki zupełnie nie doprawione zaś do kwaśnicy komuś chyba wyspał się cały pieprz
- rosół to nie wywar na kurze z kluskami...
- obsługa. Mimo reklamowania zupy, zupełny brak reakcji...
-kawa. Espresso to nie jest pół kubka :)
Ogólne odczucia dość pozytywne bo smak większości potraw był naprawdę fajny. Tylko po co tak wielkie porcje? Czy uwagi klientów się nie liczą? Polecam żurek i sandacza. Dorsz też niezły. Ponoć super są pierogi ale sam nie próbowałem.

We found this little place on the first day in Ilawa and came back two more times. The food, as judged by my very experienced Polish diners in my party, was excellent. The traditional favorites such as pierogi, zurek and barszcz were top notch. The salads were fresh and the meat dishes tasty. An English menu helped those not fluent in polish. The outdoor Terrace area looked over the lake and was well shaded. The interior dining area was a traditional tavern. Service was quick and attentive with professional waiting skills of a high standard. Parking available right next to the tavern. A playground for kids is next door and it is a short walk from the shopping mall.

This was our 3rd time in Ilawa, but a first time in Yotto. We had a great quality time in Ilawa, we find the surroundings of Jeziorak lake very soothing and calming. I'm always happy to visit this city, as it's my wife's city of birth and she always tells me stories of how the city used to look like back in a day. We both love Polish cuisine, but after a week of eating typically fatty food, you simply crave for something different. As such, on the way to our hotel, we decided to visit Yotto, the Japanese restaurant.
Now, there's a first surprise - it's location. Yotto is located on the square between old block houses of what appears to be a remnant of communist era of Poland. This is hardly a comfy spot for a restaurant, especially the one that is associated with modern style of living, or a business lunch in fast paced cities. However, as much as surprised we were to see a sushi restaurant there, I must say, it blends in well.
Once inside, we ordered a selection of sushi, accompanied by Choya plum wine (Umeshu) and a fantastic beer which is Iki Yuzu. The secret of this beer is the green tea infusion which gives it these amazing refreshing attributes. Something you must try if you like beer. Best served cold, of course.
Sushi in Yotto is served by a very talented chef. Food's texture is perfect, and the taste... The taste gives your taste buds an orgasmic pleasure. It will make you feel special and cared for and you will be fully aware that you deserve it. Every bite of it.
Then we ordered dessert which was white chocolate mousse. It really melts in your mouth and the raspberries on the bottom are delight. I must say I'm not a huge fan of the fruit.
We left the restaurant with one thing on our minds, one thing we knew for sure, that we want to come back there, next year.
Should you be a local, or like us, a visitor in one of the local hotels (Port 110), this culinary extravaganza, this urban phenomenon, is truly a hidden gem of Ilawa and absolutely a place you must visit to indulge yourself. We recommend it.

Mimo, że jedzenie jest średnie, ja dam 2 gwiazdki, ponieważ według mnie restauracja znajduje się zbyt wysoko w rankingu.
Do wizyty skłonił nas włoski profil restauracji oraz wysoka ocena internautów. Niestety, knajpa serwuje spolszczoną wersje dań włoskich, nie mających dużo wspólnego z włoską kuchnią.
Byłam w szoku kiedy zjawiliśmy się w środku a tam wystrój przypominał nowo powstały bar szybkiej obsługi. Gdyby nie fakt, że wciągneliśmy rowery na taras, to na pewno byśmy zrezygnowali z posiłku.
Nie mam zarzutów do pizzy, pewnie nie jedna osoba wyjdzie zadowolona, zwłaszcza z uwagi na korzystną cenę, mnogość składników.
Jeśli chodzi o makarony, to niestety jak wspomniałam spolszczona wersja, nieodpowiedni ser, zbyt dużo pozycji z kurczakiem.
Generalnie nie odradzam, ale dzień wcześnie byliśmy w restauracji obok " U czapy" która ma okrojone menu, nie kreuje się na restaurację włoską i zjedliśmy wspaniały włoski obiad z prawdziwego zdarzenia.

Hopeless service, we were waiting 20 minutes for someone to come over to our table just to brings menu cards, while it was not busy. In the end we left the restaurant .... Do not waste your time, there is plenty other- better places in Ilawa for nice dinner or coctails.

I've had 3 great meals in Poland 2 of them were in Iława the second here at U Czapy me and my partner both had the duck a simple dish that can easily be ruined luckily the chef knows his stuff and it was served perfectly . The restaurant has a great location on the lake with a super view a nice fresh modern restaurant can't recommend it enough, definatly going again next year.

The day was really hot and sunny, so sitting at floating platform and watching Jeziorak lake was really relaxing. We have ordered fish dishes, salads and some white wine. Menu napisane kredą na tablicy, szeroki wybór dań z gęsiny. Brawo dla regionalnej specjalizacji (w okolicy jest wielu hodowców gęsi).
Można także kupić na wynos wędliny z gęsiny (półgęsek, kiełbasy, kabanosy, smalec).
Polecam jako jedno z niewielu tego typu miejsc w naszym kraju.
