Montarra is our go-to place for birthdays and other special occasions, it has a city feel in the suburbs, Beautiful Chihuly light pendant, water wall, cozy booths, lively bar and high top tables and excellent waitstaff. Wines by the glass are a bit pricey, but a great selection, the small plate menu is outstanding, and even the sides are large portions. We celebrated my husband's birthday last week and Montarra had put his name and birthday wishes in our personalized menus! A great touch, and our well trained waitress, Cassie was busy but never neglectful. We had the soup special, a creamy lobster, tuna tartar, the grouper tostadas, brussels sprouts with bacon, petite filet mignon crisp and an apple crisp type dessert with more birthday wishes--we licked our plates, every bite was deslish and done perfectly! Thank you for another great celebration!

Still our favorite after many years. Never fails to impress. Tuna Tataki is a great appetizer. The Onogiroshi is my favorite chilled sake, and this is one of the few restaurants to carry it. Cocktails are also superior. Servers are very good. Fresh and fantasic quality. You will not be disappointed.

We stopped by the Huntley Dairy Mart while passing through Huntley on a driving trip and enjoyed a classic lunch outside with awesomely tasty seasoned fries and some burgers. And don't forget the ice cream treats - they are killer here. Awesome service, reasonable prices, and tasty food. If you're going through Huntley and are hungry, this is a spot not to miss.

Not a ton of ambiance its a strip mall, kind of noisy inside. Very crowded but excellent service,seated right away. Food; We had breakfast items and it was perfect. I'm super picky but this food was spot on, best hash browns I have had. Server on point not overly friendly but did her job very well. Perfect timing on all aspects of the meal and service. Food was prepared excellent, portions were large. I cant nit pick one complaint. Will for sure visit again, I hope soon!

Moved to Huntley a little over a month ago and Parkside was on our list to give a try. Nice location with a large courtyard. Great shaded spot to have a somewhat early lunch. Found out it was taco Tuesday with them going for $2/each. Chicken rice soup was that day's soup and it was wonderful. Large chunks of white meat, veggies and rice. The tacos didn't disappoint, but beef could have stood a little more flavor. Two were perfect and couldn't beat the price. My. Wife had the tuna melt and it was well accompanied by pretty good onion rings. Sandwich was very large and half is in fridge for lunch tomorrow. A definite return visit for outside while the weather is cooperative.

How lucky our town is to have such a lovely sweet shop. All chocolate confections and bakery items are to die for. The caramel apples come in several dreamy combinations. I have purchased the caramel apples as favors for my daughters October wedding with sprinkles in her wedding colors - a huge hit. They have candymaking classes for adults and children. Gourmet coffee drinks and some sit down tables. Visit this gem!

Ever since corporate started baking and shipping the donuts, each franchise has the same tired choices for donuts by mid-day, and often out of the good ones by then. Local donut shop beats this any day

A little upscale sports bar. High top tables, good sized bar and regular size tables. Service was acceptable and as noted an extensive menu with moderately ($12 burgers) priced offering.
Poor rating was due to BBQ slider that had enormous chunks of fat, medium burger cooked into tasteless puck and bottled nitro stout that was too warm.
Fries were tasty

Having been to Hawaii recently and having smoothies on many of the mornings there, we thought that we would try the smoothies at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Huntley. Located on Route 47, we decided to try it. They have an assortment of types of smoothies there, including classic smoothies, superfood smoothies, supercharged smoothies and indulgent smoothies. Additionally, they do have sandwiches, wraps and salads. We stuck with the smoothies and ordered two. The first was a Sunrise Sunset which is strawberries, pineapple, mango & orange juice. The second was a Sunny Day which is mango, banana, orange juice & kiwi. Both were delicious, so much so, that I think it might just be time to go back to Hawaii and try those breakfast smoothies again for comparison. There is plenty of parking in front and there is seating, inside and on the outdoor patio. The staff was very friendly, helpful and really efficient. A great spot for a dessert - or more!

Never been in a Papa G's before. It was walking distance from our car show. Menu has plenty of choices including breakfast any time. Good waitress. Good food at a reasonable price. Will stop in again if we are in the area.
