We went there for the summerfestival in the nearby Castle and where surprised by this extraordinary lovely place with old style indoor and nice outdoor Seating in a natur garden AND good food very friendly service. Plus -- they even have romantic rooms to spend a night or two

family tradition here is quite a long one. good place for fresh local food which comes in very big portions. and of course, once cant forget to buy th mohnzuzlers in the konditorei next door (well the very same place). Really nice and good

Wir waren 2mal während unsres Kurzurlaubs zum Essen dort. Jedesmal eine kulinarische Freude. Birgit - die Chefin ist die personifizierte Weinkarte - auf ihre Empfehlungen kann man sich absolut verlassen

Wir hatten online reserviert, konnten uns aber des Eindrucks nicht erwehren, dass hier improvisiert wurde. Es gab keine "Reserviert"-Schilder! Wir bekamen einen Tisch in der (Raucher)Gaststube, wo noch ein einzelner Gast dazugesetzt wurde. Ich würde neuen Gästen einen besseren Tisch geben, um aus ihnen Stammgäste zu machen. Die Karte ist beachtenswert und saisonal geprägt: Lamm, Spargel, Fisch, Rind und das Beste vom Schwein, schwer, eine Auswahl zu treffen, zumal die Portionen wirtshaustypisch groß bemessen sind. Die Spargelcremesuppe war ebenso oberslastig wie die Schweinsmedaillons mit Tagliatelle auf Spargelragout. Perfekt die auf Niedertemperatur gegarte Ente mit Blaukraut und Waldviertler Knödel, der Saft vielleicht doch etwas zu fett. Die Bedienung flott und freundlich, das Preisniveau ortsüblich in fairem Rahmen. Beim nächsten Mal, und das wird es definitv geben, reserviere ich sicher telefonisch. Der Buchinger ist eine Topadresse, etwas abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade, das ist gut so! Ich hoffe, beim nächsten Mal die "6" vergeben zu dürfen!

We visited this wonderful restaurant on a Monday for lunch. It continues the tradition of excellent dining experiences outside Vienna! Operated by a sister and brother team in what is a remodeled classic gasthaus/wirtshaus, it offers superb and beautifully prepared and presented food of an excellent standard!
Offering both gourmet set menus and a super a la carte menu, it is a place we will return to often. To top it all off, the prices are extremely reasonable and the wine prices also.
A treasure in a lovely village in Styria!!

Urige, gemütliche Weinwirtschaft mit einem sehr schönen Gewölbekeller. Die Speisekarte bietet lokale Spezialitäten und der Wein ist natürlich sehr lecker!
Zur Wirtschaft gehört der Weberkeller, den man sich unbedingt mal anschauen sollte.

If you are on a road trip to "Waldviertel" the Graselwirtin is the perfect stop. Located at the B2 from Vienna shortly before Horn, the Graselwirtin serves you local food at a reasonable price. The service is quick and good.
If you want to find something negative, then it might be the size. It is a very big restaurant, so it is not a cozy, personalized place, but a big professional (almost industrialized) location.
