We got the fajitas for two and their was plenty of food. My only problem is four tortillas is not enough to eat the platter. When I asked for more they charged me extra. Service was slow but adequate. Price was a bit high.

We were staying a couple miles away (at the Red Roof) for the night on our way to Florida. The free continental breakfast at our hotel was minimal so we came here. The staff was great! Cute little breakfast and lunch place. We had breakfast....MoreHave a safe trip. We love it when travelers discover our little restaurant. Thanks for stopping in and what a great review! Stayed at a close by Hampton while taking a 2 day drive through the mountains. We saw good reviews of Rio Grande and since it was just a short drive away decided to try it. Glad we did. The menu was huge. I had burritos and my wife had a chicken special.Both meals were terrific. The large margarita was good also. The price was very reasonable. We would go there again if we pass by in the future.

This was my second time here. My spouse ordered Stromboli, I ordered Gyro. Here are the ingredients listed on the menu. Grilled lamb, which I changed to chicken, topped with lettuce, tomato and cucumber sauce and wrapped in a fresh pita bread. When our food was served, she told me, "I found that you could just make a chicken wrap and change the sauce to the cucumber." WHAT?! She changed my order? I just looked at her. I was shocked!I have never had my order changed like this before! The ingredients on the Chicken Wrap, Grilled marinated chicken, topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and ranch, served on pita bread. ONIONS! I cannot eat onions! I only ate the chicken and the outer part of the pita. But, I still ended up in excruciating pain all night!! This is the reason I ordered the gyro! I do not send food back. You piss off the cook, no telling what they do to your food. The lettuce was 3 small chunks of the core of the head, the cucumber sauce was thin and tasteless. The waitress was all about what my spouse needed. Do you need more water, more marinara sauce? I asked for catsup, I never got it. My spouse had to get up and find her to get to-go cups.

We ordered crab cakes and fish and chips for our Sunday lunch. Service was prompt and friendly. All orders are fresh and made to order. Fish & chips arrived as 3 huge pieces of breaded Cod. Crab cake was large, tasted good although not overly warm. Hand cut fried were delicious. Great change from fast food if you aren’t in a rush. Seemed a little pricey but fish servings were generous.
Place is a little hard to find and is NOT near Quality Inn as one review reported (east of interstate next door to discount grocery store).
Slight smoke odor from the attached bar.

With all the Shoneys that have closed in recent years and a bad experience at one 2 years ago, I didn't plan on going to this one until we saw all the cars there and thought it must be good. It started out good. The hostess was friendly and our waitress was too--at first. We ordered our meal and she brought it, then 2 minutes later she laid our check on the table and we never had any service after that. We did not do anything to offend her! We are not that type of people! Our food was good. However, I ordered the Turkey club sandwich. It came with 3 slices of bread and I didn't want all that bread so I worked to get the middle slice out and reconstruct my sandwich. I ate the first half and thought, I don't taste any Turkey, but I was enjoying the BLT and cheese so I didn't really think about it. Then I took the bread out of the middle of the second half and realized I didn't taste any Turkey because there wasn't any there! It was just a BLT with cheese and extra bread in the middle! Luckily, I like BLTs, but when you order Turkey club, that is what you expect. Of course, our waitress was non-existent, so I couldn't say anything. I would have mentioned it when we checked out, but I went to the restroom and my husband will not bring anything like that to the attention of the management. I was just disappointed.

We ate breakfast here on Sunday morning after our stay at Motel 6. Your typical McDonalds but they brought our order to our table while we were seated. WoW thats worth 5 stars for this McDonalds!

We ordered the 12” Veggie Delight ($12.99) and it was full of veggies and very, very good. The 12” was too large for her and we should have ordered the 10” personal size. The Rigatoni Bolognese ($11.95) was delicious and I could barely finish it. The place could use a decorating update.

Went to Hillsville Diner for breakfast. No frills place good food and service but as with the Lakeview not hot although better. What's with the cold syrup on pancakes it cools them quickly. The food was somewhat warm upon arrival, the room tempp syrup cooled the pancakes quickly. Eggs were perfectly cooked as was the sausage patties and Charlotte's bacon was crispy without the aid of a deep fryer. W will definitely eat here again when in the area.

Stayed overnight at the Comfort inn and ordered in... recommendation from the hotel front desk and it was a great one! Meat lovers, thin pizza.... good value, yummy pizza!! Didn't ask.. but Even brought us plates and napkins!! :) very pleasant delivery lady!!
