Eat here only if you don’t mind some lovely dogs roaming around sniffing your plate.
This is a pet friendly cafe with great food and some super desserts menu too. I had their banana chocolate dessert which was a cake slice straight out of heaven and the sea food menu is also very carefully priced. Do not miss it

we stayed at Emerald gecko , and the bistro is in the grounds . had the breakfat everyday (porridge with cashew nuts and honey was yum) had a few other meals there but the bbq night bwas great sanjay and the EG team made the place look super, fun night

Fat martin is a really. Happening place in Havelock. The hello to the gueen. Is. Delicious desrert. We rnjoy. Pasta red sauce and pizzas whow. Its interior is owsome. And people also very humbel thanks to fat martin team make our trip so comfort at end thanks mr vishal to make our trip so easy.

The food tasted awesome here. All the dishes of Indian and Continental cuisine that we ordered were very authentic and tasted delicious. They have good service and great chef/s. This is a barefoot place, meaning that all guests have to shed their footwear & thankfully that's all you have to bare!! They levy a service charge in all their bills which is no longer valid in India and can be refused by the guest.

The best food on the island! Don't be scared away by its minimal interior, it's the hidden gem of Havelock. We tried many of the best rated restaurants on the island but kept coming back here.
Not only is the food amazing but the prices as well.
Try the crab, shrimp curry, veg fried rice, eggplant masala (it melts in your mouth!).... and don't forget the milky bar nutella chapatti for dessert!!
Sorry so few pictures, by the time we remembered we hat already eaten half the food lol

The best food on the island that we had, made authentically with natural produce, very fresh and so delicious (even for vegetarians).. If we had stayed any longer, I am sure we would have returned for more meals.
They typically have a board menu with 3-4 choices for non veg and 2-3 choices for veg, hence little limited in their choice.

I visited dakshin with my family during our elephant beach visit. The location is good it's very near to jetty and with sea front view. They serve traditional thali (veg and nonveg both). Sun-Times it's crowded also. Good ambience they decorated it with beautiful Hollywood and Bollywood film posters. This place is clean , Service is average. Food taste is good. My recommendation is fish thali .try once when you are in Havelock.

This is Small and little Shabby (not that much) type Restaurant, the sitting arrangement is also small, but the preparation is good and price of Sea food is also reasonable, The Vegetarian food is also good. The nearby restaurants are equally shabby but are expensive. Yes I agree it is not that clean.
