Harrison Hot Springs is a favorite getaway destination because it’s a lakeside resort atmosphere only two hours from Vancouver, yet it feels like you’re much further away. You’ve got a gorgeous drive through the Fraser Valley to get there, especially if you take the slower and pastoral Hwy 7. You’ve got the charming village of Harrison Hot Springs along the south shore of Harrison Lake with its beaches and promenades, and there are hot springs to enjoy, provincial parks to explore, and mountainous scenery galore.

This place is like a banquet hall from the 1970s & the buffet was nothing special. From the old-timey band, to run-of the mill catering, this restaurant could seriously stand to be updated!

My girlfriend and I had dinner here on a Wednesday in the rain and snow in February and the place was very busy. Make sure to place a reservation. I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon, cooked to medium. It was perfectly cooked and wonderfully season. The cabbage was delicious as were the side veggies. My girlfriend had one of their schnitzel dishes with spaetzel and she loved it. Great service and we enjoyed the old school decor, very cool.

We had dinner there - bento set, chirashi don, tempura udon & a variety of rolls. It was ok, not that great but being the only Japanese restaurant within walking distance from Harrison Hot Spring Spa hotel, it is very pricey.
It was a hot day & we were carrying our water bottle when we entered the restaurant. We were immediately told that no water bottle was allowed in the restaurant & our bottle was taken away from us. We would appreciate that if you are going to charge a premium on your water bottle, at least make it 1.5 liter.

We are a family run cafe that uses fresh local produce to create a different dinning experience. From locally roasted coffee to cheeses from the Agassiz farm house. We try to serve that 100 mile menu.

Leek and potato soup sounds boring but it was one of the best soups I ever tasted. The alternative, a salad, was huge and gorgeous. Tender moist duck on GF bread was a treat. Delightful food with prices kept low by a coffee shop atmosphere.

Casual pub, but felt cozy. Service was friendly and fast. Food portions were huge and fair for the price. The ribs were delicious. Would come back with friends. There seems to be something on the menu to satisfy most food cravings if you're with a group of friends.

Attended for dinner as wished to also see the Harrison Hotel and Springs and have view of the Harrison Lake. We were served by Deanna, pleasant lady waitress who did try to please us with a very changes of the menu, thank you. The roast beef steak was very great! just cooked right for us both had a good taste and portion. Thanks to the chef Spike! The fresh buns very delicious and the ones hot the best! The portion of mashed potatoes was okay but nothing to put on the potatoes and got dry and cool tasting. Why not next time offer gravy or ? on the potatoes? The assortment of veggies was okay but amount small, tasted okay. The very small amount of thin gravy was delicious but barley adequate for the meat. Thanks Deanna for change of Deserts as could of been at least two offers. Nice waitress will be back in the summer as has a nice outside deck in front of the lake. happytravels.

Morgan's Bistro

Beachfront location with an unobstructed view of the lake from a second floor Patio, with a list of fabulous dishes that suit everyone's needs. Every dish has amazing flavour.

Reviewed By Dennis B - Stanwood, Washington, United States

Went to Morgan's day after Valentine's day this year. We had made a reservation a month or so in advance. Trouble started when we were told we had no reservation...but after some conversation, our "reservation" was honored and we were seated with no wait.
It became immediately apparent that the waitress would rather be anywhere but working with us. We sat for at least 10 minutes before she took our drink order, another 10 minutes to bring drinks which were incorrect (and she had forgotten one of them). We were then ignored for another 10 15 minutes and finally ordered. By the time nearly an hour had elapsed our food arrived. No apology, nothing.
High point of the experience was a wonderful meal spoiled somewhat by a nearly cold steak along with very hot potatoes. All in all, a really good meal.
All through, the waitress was curt and cold, made us feel like we were in the way. We concluded she probably thought she didn't believe that we actually had a reservation.
We were offered a free dessert but pretty certain not something from the "top of the menu," a soggy, cream filled thing that was a waste of calories.
We would go back to this place as the food was wonderful, but if we saw the same waitress we'd turn around and leave.
Additionally, only one person working the whole dining room which is not acceptable at these (very high) prices.
Please do better! Harrison needs you but not like this.

We had the bento box, sushi and some hand-rolls on our visit to Yukiya Sushi. The food was excellent. So fresh and tasty. Spicy but in a way that compliments the food not hides it.
We receive the food very quickly. The service is good but not great. Seemed overwhelmed at times even when there were only a few customers inside.
Parts of the restaurant is decorate in declarations of love and affection filled out by customers which was an interesting read.
It is an intimate size and can feel crowded quickly based on table setup and floor plan layout. Can feel like diners are on top of each other a bit but does not detract from the overall experience.

Loved this little pizza restaurant that provided delicious food for a good price. They had gluten free crust as well as regular, so everyone in our party was able to enjoy dinner. Service was friendly and the restaurant was doing a brisk trade in both sit in and take out meals. We could see the signage from our room at the Harrison Beach hotel, so were happy to battle our way through the winter storm to eat there.

Just because you’re in your off-season doesn’t mean standards should lowered. Loud staff, that were inconsiderate of the customers in the restaurant. Wait staff that repeatedly forget aspects of the order or delivered items to the wrong table. A chef that refused to alter the menu ( fine in busy period, but seriously, this is mid-Winter! ).
Would not return. Happily took a friend to another Hot Springs restaurant for breakfast the next day - totally different experience!
