We are traditional and international food restaurant. It is opened since 27 october 1995. We offer to costumers the most fresh dishes of sea you have ever seen. Actually in this place, we rent rooms too. The price for each room with bathroom is 25 c.u.c. The clients have the possibility to breakfast and dinner included.

Fantastic food - the steak and paella are both very good dishes indeed as is the seafood plate. The Terrace is so pretty and peaceful as you sit under a canopy of flowers with a water feature trickling away. The waiter/owner of the palader speaks very good english and is very proud of it and rightfully so - it is on Avenida Quebec which is a few streets back from the main strip in Guanabo so don't be afraid to much off around the neighbourhood to find it, it's a little tricky but the locals are nice and happily pointed us in the right direction.

We came as a group of 6 on a chartered one day excursion from Key West. Our local guide, Rafele, told us we would be visiting this, one of his favorite restaurants, for lunch.
The lunch began with the house mojito, which most in our group found to be very strong.
The soup course, with shredded meat and root vegetables in a rich broth, was delicious. The breads, with 3 dipping sauces equally good
Our main dishes were served family style, and were overly generous. There was a black bean, rice, 2 types of meat and a fish selection, along with a very fresh salad. We ate heartily, and were all impressed.
The local Cuban woman, Maria, made and presented our traditional Cuban coffee, and it accompanied our desert, rice pudding
What a wonderful sampler of Cuban food we experienced! The staff and support team at the restaurant were all very gracious, and we felt welcomed as guests.

Our taxi driver recommended this place. We worried it would touristy (over priced) but it was authentically good and a place he dined at before. I tried the special stew - Ajiaco made with potatoes and other root vegetables. Try the tostones (plantains) filled with ham and cheese. The fried fish nuggets (perlan I believe) were delicious.
The restaurant does not have A/C but is cooler than outside with fans.
They make pizza there but we found it a bit undercooked.

We spent 2 nights in Guanabo and came here both nights. The pizza is unreal. The service is good too. The place is a bit hidden, but definitely worth looking for!

We went to this restaurant early one evening after being approached by the guy working the street a couple of days before - we'd found him friendly and remembered where it was. It's approached up a narrow staircase where we found an eclectically decorated room. As we were the only customers we had the balcony table overlooking the street. Not all the menu was available and they had to run out to get the beers, but we found all the guys to be sweet and friendly. Reading some of the other reviews I was surprised by the prices they quoted - we paid CUC13 for 2 meals (smallish portions but adequate) plus CUC9 for 4 drinks (3 beers and a mojito). A 10% service charge was added to the bill but that was pretty standard in our experience. While we were eating two musicians came to serenade us which felt a little awkward but they were superb - a cut above any of the other restaurant musicians we heard in Havana. The restaurant has a clean bathroom.

I wish I had tried more of there food. Usually just came for coffee (which I thought was the best I've ever had). I ate there food on the last day and it was amazing. I made sure I was there usually every morning. Please keep up with the good work. You've made a great memory in my life.

This was a very hard place to find! I had taken info on the restaurants in Guanabo from tripadvisor. We decided to try ll Piccollo - took the info with the map. We never found it - no one recognized it! We gave up our search and tried another very good Guanabo restaurant. We decided to try to find Picolo another night. We did find it and were very pleased with everything! It turns out that ll Piccollo and Picolo are one and the same! Do not use the map from ll Piccollo you will never find and it would be a shame to miss this place. Great atmosphere and the food was very tasty. There is a small zoo and children's area. Will certainly return next year.

When in Guanabo for vacation or just passing by, make sure you stop by "El Guajiro" and/or "Los Dos Hermanos" on 477A street between 5ta Ave and 5ta D Ave. You won't regret it, good prices and generous portions. If you happen to go to "Los Dos Hermanos," make sure you try the churros across the street from "Arenas Churros," they are to die for!
This spots are locally owned NOT state-owned, so you'll be sure not only to receive good customer service but help the local economy.
