I have been in Grand Falls and I love this charming restaurant. The food is delicious and it is a very fine example of great home cooking. I have visited a number of 'high end' Vancouver restaurants but I can say truly say I have seldom enjoyed a meal as much as at the Hilltop. AND the view from the front of the restaurant is simply beautiful. Parking is a bit of a challenge but considering how good this little gem is, it's understandable. If you find yourself in Grand Falls, try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed

Stayed overnight in Grand Falls on business with a colleague and was looking for a place to eat.
Looked up TA and saw this place.
It is a very good restaurant at very reasonable prices.
We had steaks, salads, and Fish with Shrimp Cocktails to start with.
Service was fast and friendly.
Will be back!

This was a break in journey from Fredricton to Quebec City for a mid day snack. The meal was enjoyed by all especially the kids. It is located close to the falls.

Was staying at my family members over the weekend.
Ordered a pizza on the evening of June 13th, 2015 and the Delivery was QUICK, POLITE and PROFESSIONAL.
Pizza and garlic fingers were cooked perfectly, and it appeared that care was taken when making the food.
Food was still HOT, A +++

On our way to the Halifax we overnighted in Grand Falls and, since travelling with our dog, opted for the easy travellers meal of pizza in the room. The Scores/Pizza Delight franchise store was not too far from our motel and was a bright cheery location. Had forgotten how different and delicious the pizza delight pizza was. The staff were very helpful in getting the maximum value for our dollar by suggesting the various combinations. The wait was minimal and the food was terrific. Pizza Delight is once again high on our list of all time favorite pizza crusts and sauces.

Restaurant is clean with nice interior and beautiful new from the window. The food is simple but good, not expensive and service was fast. We were there with friends and family. Most of us ordered pizza and it was very good also others were pleased with club Sandwich and fish and chips.

We ate there a couple of weeks on the way home. All four of us commented on how we were not pleased with the food. Service was still excellent and great people but it looks like the Couche Tard ( Circle K) folks are in there trying to reduce costs/increase revenue and drive shareholder value. That corporate philosophy always translates into a bad shake for the consumer. This place has gone down hill. I suspect the Couche Tard ( Circle K) people are running this operation because the taste, quality, and value of the food is a lot worse than when I stopped in here last 5 years ago. It is hard to screw up a club but they did. Less Turkey, less bacon and much less fries than the Big Stop norm when the Irving's were in command. One always got a god shake with the Irving's The soup was watery and less vegetables than the Irving norm. The place was not busy at lunch time so I suspect I am not the only one that has noticed the change. Keep on trucking there is better food ahead.

If you want fast food, this is your place. Unlike big name fast food restaurants, if you want a great tasting burger (100% real beef) this place is where you go. My personal favorite is the fish and chips. Great portions and the staff are very pleasant and efficient

Wow, this food is wonderful! They have several lunch choices and they all look very appealing. I had the Curry Chicken and it was so good. First entree was a small bowl of Lentil soup and then came the chicken curry, served with fresh spices from the island of Mauritius, on a bed of Basmati rice. Also there was a side salad with a delicious creme sauce. Very healthy! Then I was served a small cake that topped everything off. A five star performance with excellent service by the server!
(the owner also came out to greet us and check to see if we were satisfied with our meal)

Had an excellent steak meal recently, we were 2 couples. Service was very good, nice atmosphere, nice decor, only problem was there was only one other table occupied which made me wonder why on a Saturday night, the place was empty. Prices are about normal for a steak house. Hope they get busier.
