This restaurant is amazing, with a great country side food, and aome apecial dishes that inly the owner know how to do!!! If you come, don't miss the "virado de banana" just amazing!! The service is also great!!!

opção de salada ok, pratos quentes estavam queimando na panela, sem reposição. O que gostamos foi da carne de porco.

We spent the Reveillon party in this place. In the center of Gonçalves, very easy to find. Very good food, friendly service, fair price, sometimes it has live music.

Gonçalves, an incredible well preserved small town in the south of Minas Gerais(near the border of São Paulo),is sorrounded by a beautiful landscape,waterfalls and alambics where you can get the best "cachaça"(sugar cane brandy) in Brazil.
With many small shops, very elegant and stylish, where you can find the best handicraft of that region, you can also get an excellent meal at the "Janelas com Tramela" restaurant.Just order the "porco na lata"(pork in the tin) and you will have a deligthful surprise. Following an old recipe, the pork meat is immersed in a tin full of lard,that turns the meat so soft that you don't even have to use a knife!!!.
The town and the restaurant are worth a visit!

Some locals hang out here; there was good music and even better brownies! I'm American, so I'm pretty snobby about my brownies in Brazil! :) The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit to get a feel for the town.

Os pratos são excelentes em todas as refeições! Melhor comida mineira! Café da manhã simples, porém muito saboroso. Os pratos do almoço e janta são mais elaborados, com uma chef q se preocupa com o gosto do cliente, e uma equipe q se esforça para q o cliente seja bem atendido e saia satisfeito com os pratos! Foi uma excelente experiência!

I don't know what is special with this place, average food and drinks...yes it dos have a good view...but that is all and you certainly pay for it.
