Had a light lunch here next to the beach - Greek salad, Mythos and .25l of red wine. Service friendly and efficient, food tasty, crostinis delicious. With bread and water bill was €13.
Returned same evening but sat off the square. Husband had burgers (2 stuffed with feta and tomato, served with salad) which were lovely. I had spaghetti with chicken and vegetables. Way too much for 1 person. Big portions do not equal quality. Chicken tender bu was nothing special. The red wine however was once again lovely (served warm, everywhere else has served it chilled). With bread, water, 2 Mythos and .5l wine bill was €27.
Returned following night just for drinks. 1 Mythos and .5l red wine was €6.50.
No receipts issued on any occasion.

Having walked pass every night for 10 days and seeing this fine establishment heaving we at last got around to booking a table for six and was so glad we did.The food,service and wine were all excellent with six different meals arriving together all perfectly cooked and hot.A must for next year.

Neo Kastro is located on the little square in Gialova. The food is great, good size portions and not expensive.

This restaurant is located on the Erodios Camping Site, 300m or so along the beach from the main Gialova village. We were staying on the campsite, and this was the main reason for trying it out. As stated in the title the food is slightly cheaper than in Gialova itself, and was of average quality. The restaurant is a slightly strange mix of self service and a la carte. You can have some of the specials that are served up 'school-dinner' style, or opt for a freshly cooked meal from the no more expensive a la carte menu. We went for a mixture of the two - having perch with a lemon and caper sauce from the self-service and then pork souvlaki, pork gyros, and lamb chops from the a la carte menu. It was a bit odd as this meant one of our party ate before the rest! Anyway, the perch was tasty, with a pleasant sauce, and was served with roast potatoes I think. The only criticism would be it was quite dry and overcooked (sitting waiting to be taken obviously did not help). The other dishes were fine too - the pork gyros was a large plate, served with salad, chips and bread. The lamb chops were tasty, and not too overcooked, and the pork Souvlaki was fine too. Service was friendly and drinks were comparatively cheap too. Overall we felt it offered good value.

Good quality food in a nice garden under the trees.Right on the beach.Friendly and polite stuff.The prices might be slightly over the average, but the quality of the food is by far better than the other restaurants in Gialova, therefore it’s definitively worth it.

Called in for a coffee and hot chocolate before we departed for the airport. Friendly service. Coffee was a little bitter for my taste (black Americano) but the hot chocolate went down a treat! Cost €4.50.

The food was so-so. I chose a vegetarian dish, but my girlfriend had some souvlaki. Small portions. Do not expect salad on the side or water, as you would get from many other greek taverns. The food was pretty dry. The service was average

Visited this bar/cafe on many visits to Gialova and it never fails to deliver! Great Aperol spritz and cocktails in general. Morning cappuccino came very close to one of the best in Greece . Very friendly staff . Do not miss this place when visiting Gialova. Until next time ...

We spent 3 evenings of our 4 days stay in this restaurant and everything was just delicious. Every evening we selected a variety of starters and continued with fish. I personally ordered one evening the lamp chops which were very tasty.

Went to La Cucina last night and both had a very nice pizza and salad. Very popular (full) restaurant and nice setting at sunset. Will be going again later this week to try their pasta!
