Georgetown is a home rule-class city in Scott County, Kentucky, in the United States. The 2016 population was 33,440 per the United States Census Bureau. It is the 7th-largest city by population in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It is the seat of its county. It was originally called Lebanon when founded by Rev. Elijah Craig and was renamed in 1790 in honor of President George Washington. It is the home of Georgetown College, a private liberal arts college. Georgetown is part of the Lexington-Fayette, KY Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Great food and excellent service. When bringing it to the attention of our server, Scott, that my wife's ribs were a little too spicy for her liking, He immediately put in a new order no questions asked and brought over the manager Christian. Can't say enough good about this place in particular about our service and about how professional and accommodating both Scott and Christian were... Thanks Guys - we'll be back when in area. Highly recommend this spot. .

Don't know who Frank is but he has some darn good donuts y'all. We were staying 1-night in Georgetown on our way south to Tennessee and i read the great reviews on here and must say they are right. Great donuts, Great service, Great prices!

We had some sundaes today and brought our little dogs, who got a treat from the nice lady behind the counter. The sundaes were fantastic and our dogs loved the treats. I would highly recommend Bruster's!

month. The old house has been renovated and is just lovely for an upscale dinner at a reasonable price point. Entrees are served with a choice of soup, salad or sweet and range from $15 - $20. Appetizers range from $5. - $9. We had the crab cakes to start - the sauce was lovely but the crab cake was on the cold side. The Bourbon Barrel Salmon was outstanding but my lamb special was served less than warm, a overdone for my liking - when speaking with the server, she went back to the kitchen and I was told this was the last of the lamb needed more au jus or some mint sauce to complement. Upon request for mint sauce they brought out the chefs homemade special steak sauce. It was wonderful! It went well with the roasted lamb. The roasted vegetables were delicious albeit just warm.

I have visited and eaten here on several occasions,and found the food and general atmosphere pleasant and convivial.However, I visited this time with my daughter who is vegetarian,and a couple of other friends. There as no immediate choice of meal for her, so she asked the charming waiter if she could have a combination of various suitable items on the menu. This precipitated the most amazing display of ill temper on behalf of the chef,who came into the room and told her that the choices were his business, and stormed out again. This left us all feeling fairly ill at ease and uncomfortable! The food for all of us was very ordinary,and bearing in mind the hefty bill, not worth it. The other big drawback was that on a fairly chilly night, the room was uncomfortably cold. Not a place I will revisit,or indeed, recommend to friends.

I have been looking forward to this trip for a long time, and Fava's made this the icing on the cake! The atmosphere was sweet, old timey like. It had a really cute mural on the wall, with 3D elements. Their walls showed that they are proud of who they are, and they know where they come from. However their weight staff was humble and kind, and right on the ball! The prices were fair and the food was fantastic. The rainbow of mugs was really cool, I love seeing little touches like that. They didn't just serve you food they made you feel welcome. Quick to answer questions, and well informed about their menu. I also took note of the handmade aprons that they were wearing. That tells you that this is a true Family Restaurant. I cannot say enough about Farva! Thank you for such a wonderful visit to Georgetown Kentucky. I will definitely be back!

Came in on a snowy & slick Saturday evening around 6:30 p m. We were seated right away. 5 in our party.We had a odd seating corner booth. It was not very comfortable. Would ask to sit @ a table next time. The place was crowed but not packed. The bar is on one side of the restaurant. They do have a separate party type of room. Rustic barn/ old distillery décor. Loved the old Crow distillery doors, cute touch. TV's are all around. Great place to watch the games. We started with the buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips and the potato boats. Both were delicious. The side salads were chocked full of veggies. They do make the honey mustard which I had and it was very good. I had the buffalo chicken nachos. They were yummy. Just a little dry, needed some more ranch or blue cheese dressing. It was a huge plate. My husband and son shared the Chicken, bacon ranch pizza. The crust was divine kind of sweet. They do offer Gluten Free crust. The pizza needed more ranch dressing. Ask for ranch on the side. No room for dessert. They do serve coke products. We live about 20 minutes away and will be back.
Note: They have moved up the street. Parking can be a challenge.

We were staying the night in a local hotel and ordered a take-out large pizza.The order was hot and ready at the appointed pickup time. Not the very best I've ever had but it was pretty darn good and we'd definitely eat here again when in the area. Nice friendly staff and good food.

This was our second visit to Formaggio Italiano, a locally owned family restaurant. I had baked lasagna and my wife had spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls. The waitress discussed the recipe of the meatballs and was genuinely friendly and helpful. Attentive without being overbearing. Drinks, dinner and tip for two was around $40. Portions were plentiful.

Stopped for dinner tonite after a long day of traveling north. What a find! Our waiter, Kaelen, was very knowledgeable about all the food items and beverages. It was very difficult to choose what to eat, but we took his suggestions for dinner and were not disappointed. This place is a hidden gem. We will definitely stop again on our way through Kentucky!

My husband dropped me off to pick up dinner at Cracker Barrel. I put in the order and wandered around the store waiting for the order to be prepared for taking out. I was asked by a person at the check out if I was waiting for take out a considerable time later. She called the kitchen twice and our name was not on an order. At this point someone should have come out, taken the order again and I should have had my food. This isn't what happened. Several people offered to check on the order and finally the lady at check out got the manager to the front. We were offered drinks and a dessert. End result--almost 45 minutes after I placed the order we were given an explanation for the problem, given the food which we paid for, and we left. We're local and we will eat at Cracker Barrel again, but not take out and we will be very conscious of this instance in the future. Everyone was very nice, but someone without the patience or time we had would probably not have waited around or returned.
