La qualité est en baisse depuis plusieurs mois. Le temps d'attente est très long. Les salades sont pas fraîches, sans goût et l'assaisonnement est nul. Les plats chauds sont trop cuit. C'est cher, pas bon du tout et quelle lenteur. Nous n'y retourneront plus et l'avons fais savoir à nos 21000 collègues.

Randomly chosen place to meet somewhere halfway between Brussels and Namur. L'Estaminet is probably a typical Belgian "taverne". They have a menu and suggestions of the day. When we ordered our food, it took a while to prepare and everything (meat, sauce, even the fish and fries) looked and tasted freshly prepared rather than pre-made stuff from the freezer, like some other reviewer seems to imply (besides, they have a rather restricted menu, so why would they?).
The waiters and the cook were very nice, and we witnessed a quirky local drunken couple in their efforts to leave, which sort of livened up the place.
All in all, not too bad and good value for money. I can imagine that the square is indeed a nice place to reside on a hot summer night.

This place was such an amazing find!!! We were tired of the St tropez scene where you pay top dollar for crap food. Moroccon is not for the unadventurous. We had tagine and couscous. It was sucha nice change! Great people watching. The place filled up really quickly and Reservations are a must.

We went based on an announcement of the "RestoDays", where local restaurants try to attract new audience. People were very friendly and helpful. A separate are for a drink before eating is made in a modern but nice style. We had a glas of champagne that was too warm, and also already a small starter from the house that was not impressive. A salmon-cream that was clearly not fresh on the plate but put there some hours ago and started to be a little bit brown (but good taste), the other small things were ok but not special from a taste.
As menu we had the "Resto Days Menu" and a matching selection of vine. The vine selection was excellent, not only from a choice and matching the food but also from overall quality. The price for the vine selection was very good knowing that they backfilled our glasses as needed.
Our Seating was close to two large tables, and this caused everything else than a calm evening. It was much too loud, and on top once somebody opened the large window to the Terrace it was cold. I believe for a large group the restaurant is perfect.
The food quality was ok, but definitely not what we expected from a "Menu Gastronomique". We compared the quality to a solid Brasserie in Belgium, and there we would have not been disappointed. Price was reasonable based on the the "Resto Days" where the menu was 28€.
Overall not a perfect experience.

I liked this restaurant especially for the food quality and the comfortable Seating. We were friends having dinner and a nice round table was allowed to us after our reservation. The place is actually a hotel restaurant but that does not bother at all.
The riz de veau I ordered in the Terre et Mer dish were simply fabulous. Seafood was also first class. I appreciated the right cooking of both dishes.
We took the wines choosen by the house and they were ok.
We departed late and the waiter let us no problem.

Mais loin d’être déçues ! L’organisation générale est géniale! L’animation parfaite et le show est une réussite ! Le buffet est très varié et très bon! Le fait de faire cire sa viande soit même est très chouette!
Le personnel est souriant et à votre service!
Le fait de débarrasser soit même n’est pas plus mal, le personnel n’est pas cendrillon et l’organisation roule très bien comme cela ! Bravo
Nous sommes super content de notre soirée !

Totally different to a typical Chinese. Well presented and well served delicacies. Copious amounts per serving. Menu very much abridged to concentrate on quality. Interesting wine selection.

Last Thursday was our fourth time at the restaurant. My wife and I invited an American colleague and although the restaurant was full, the booking had not bring any difficulty. We were again delighted by the great and delicate menu, and prefect service. The wines from the selection were great as well. What struck our guest was the collection of small dishes brought by the waiters from the start of the dinner and that were not indicated in the menu. She could not believe that when dessert indicated in the menu was over, it was then not really over and pleasant dishes with additional desserts kept coming. All in all an unforgettable experience and true luck to have such a great place in Brabant Wallon area. A place that you need to discover, if not yet the case, definitely!

The couple who manage this restaurant already did for 18 years in the centre of Gembloux, and they were already really good.
Now, the cooking is a bit more refined and the environment is much nicer but it is still the same pleasure to eat their cooking.
A guarantee place were you can go for business, with friends or in couples (I recommend not to go there with young children -I went with my 3 years boy and 9 months girl- as the place is a bit too high for noisy an rambunctious children : you will not feel comfortable with them even if everyone is nice.

I really love this restaurant. I discovered it with my parents and family friends there are 2 or 3 years and we returned there several times. Bosses have foreign origins and are able to insert their cultures in their dishes and that's excellent! I don't really like meat but when I go there I take it every time. The waitress who is also the owner and the wife of the chef knows the dishes on her fingertips. So, she can explain to you all the dishes and give you si me advices. The setting is quiet and pleasant, the owners are very present for their customers and friendly. The service is fast and well executed. I've never been disappointed with what I ate and the people who accompanied me neither, the food is really delicious.
I highly recommende it!
