Incredible service, very good food, just the portions are quite big!
I ordered a small salad and it was complete full after it.
It was a Thursday and the place was complete full.
They have also tables outside and it seems very nice place for having a dinner in a very hot summer day!

WE loved having tea at Cafe Thiele. The ambiance is super with tables with spindly legs and waitresses with little white aprons. You could see Hildegard Knef or Marlene Dietrich having tea or coffee here. They have a great number of wonderful cakes and Kuchen and it is not super expensive. Great experience!

Toro Negro

this is a must try, went here with family and friends, it's a buffet style restaurant.
your seated and order drinks then the meat convoy begins, waiters come round with massive skewers of meat, beef, chicken, sausage, ham, pork, and mixtures of meat , (you have a card green one side red the other, green = give me more meat. Red = I'm stuffed no more meat) they cut you off a slice or put a chunk on your plate, if you want veg or salad or both you just have to go and get from counter, desert aren't brilliant but still nice, but when you've eaten a load of meat n veg you don't really want desert.
it is a must place to try.
To avoid disappointment book a table as it's very busy.

Dachsbau Fulda

Reviewed By Glen W - Wurzburg, Germany

Dachsbau, the name of this adorable restaurant in glorious Fulda, is German for the badger's underground living quarters, his "sett". It's the best place to recover after visiting the town's many wonderful sights, mostly ecclesiatical; from Fulda the Christianization of central Germany was undertaken in the mid-8th century by a group of intrepid Anglo-Saxons led by St. Boniface, who was buried in the former Abbey Church after having his head split by the Frisian king's sword in 754.
The food here is outstanding, the menu is imaginative but sensible and free of modern weirdnesses, the portions are generous but not Gargantuan, and the prices are reasonable. The wine list is varied and interesting, without wearing you out. I asked if they really had that magnum of 1929 Chateau Margaux in the cellar; the boss said it had been drunk recently, and was amazing, but that he had left it on the list for sentimental reasons, like a ghost. I can understand that. What is really nice is their generous range of open wines, which they will serve you at 0.1 or 0.2 liter glasses.
The building is 400 years old and has been a restaurant for a century and a half. The space is accordingly...cozy, and quaint. Copiously decorated with old prints, and paintings from the 1920's of anthropomorphized badgers, said to represent long-dead inhabitants of the city.
I never enjoyed a restaurant in Germany more, and I have been eating out here for 30 years.

Traditional Microbrewery with tasty German food as Grandma used to do it.

Nothing fancy, but the beer and food were done very well. The pretzels with trio of dipping sauces were a fun addition to the meal. Friendly service, lots of locals. Side note: it takes a lot to make me notice the bathrooms one way or another, but these were spotlessly clean and modern, underscoring the establishment's commitment to quality.

This place deserves its ratings. Dropped in for lunch and had an outstanding Masseman Curry. This is the real deal for lover of Thai. Great menu and clearly very popular with many booking coming in while we were there. I would think booking for the evenings is essential. Would return in an instant. It also does a takeaway service.
