Do make a reservation ahead, it is usually very crowded. If you don't have Reservations, you'll have to seat outside. Once you're served (took a while) you'll get free lavender-lemonade drinks. I recommend the spicy cinnamon with ginger tea. Pastries look delicious, did not order any though. The place itself is beautiful, lovely lavender fields, beautiful german cottage and fine bow China.

Attended this restaurant after 8 years we were there for the first time. The place remains fantastic, delicious meal and great service from our waiter with a pisco sour to die for. The restaurant is not cheap but most definitely very good value for money. Great view to the lake and the volcano.

Went for lunch with the family with no Reservations and we didn't have a problem to find a table! Food is really great, with had fish and meat which where all well prepared, presented and very tasty! Desserts are also surprising here, great place for a family lunch or dinner.

We came here in the morning and while the service was quite slow and very laid back, it was definitely worth the wait for our food. The iced tea was very tasty and refreshing and the kuchen is delicious! Other people in the restaurant were also eating some delicous looking, HUGE slices of cake! Great for a sweet snack

While views of the Volcanos seem ubiquitous around Lake Llanquihue, the setting of this restaurant just off the lakefront in Frutillar very nice. But it's the food that sets it apart. Other reviews mention the grill, and that looks great, too. But we went for the chef's suggestion: pork chops. We were surprised when they arrived as they were smoked pork chops, the best I've ever had! The portions are very large. We split an order and they plated it that way. It was plenty. The sauerkraut was also excellent, as was the complimentary hot cheese bread. While our server spoke no English, we made out just fine.

This is the place to have pigs feet, smoked pork chops, sauercraut, smoked duck and many other German specialities. Many Chilean residents of the region are of German origin and their traditions survive to this day.
The service is first class, but book your table early in the summer, it is very popular as the prices are reasonable.

Surrounded by roses.
We had a very enjoyable lunch here, sitting outside under an umbrella looking down a side street to Orsono.
We only had salads but everything was nice and fresh and the beer was icy cold.
Not expensive.
Quaint building, very clean with good amenities.

The menu shows typical dishes you would find in a French restaurant in France. The owner is French. The dishes were very good, even by French standards, and they are very "French", also in terms of spices and which is welcome sometimes in Chile, so a very nice surprise. The inside is rather "chic" and it is not too expensive by French and Chilean standards.
