We went to Flor de Sal for a Saturday night dinner. First, the décor of the place is so rich, it takes you a few minutes to take in everything: it's quaint and rustic, but very natural. Then, the menu showed us a lot of excellent options, and the problem was choosing between them: I went for the brased tuna with vegetables, and everything was really tasty. Please save some appetite to try the desserts: the "Vaso de Flores", besides being so well though out visually, is delicious! I'll definitely go back, and try some other dishes! Also, congratulations for the staff: really helpful and very welcoming.

We spent a night in the countryside close to Almoural and were surprised that out hotel's restaurant was closed Sunday. They suggested we try this restaurant and it was wonderful. A family restaurant so very easy going ambiance. Great views over the water and this cute charming town. Service went over the top to welcome us and help us with all of our choices. I didn't like something so they changed it for me, with a smile... The meal was delicious and it was a very nice evening.

Found via Tripadvisor, this restaurant was a surprise. Great food with a well trained staff, and a buffet of entrances (only on national holidays and weekends) made a perfect dinner. When in Golegã or nearby don't miss the experience.

We had a delicious lunch with amazing flavours that we would not have expected to find in this small but beautiful corner of the Santarém region. Artur, the charming chef and owner, has an impressive knowledge of the wide variety of world cuisines that are served with pride in his restaurant. We dined on chamuças vegetariano (samosas), curried chicken rissole and poppadums to start, a delicately flavoured Nepalese mango chicken curry and spicy Goan prawn balchão with jeera rice and naan bread for mains, and finished it all off with a lime mousse and a Brazilian coconut egg custard dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious, so we will definitely be making many return trips, especially as there is such an extensive and varied menu, something that can be difficult to find in this part of Portugal. Can't recommend highly enough.

Não é preciso muito cenário é encenação. Servir bem, com simpatia e atenção ao cliente, e uma comida de boa qualidade e bem confecionada, saborosa com uma boa relação preço/qualidade é suficiente. Num local improvável. Merece uma paragem. Come-se bem. Simplesmente!

I was drawn to this little nice restaurant by the "delicious" smell of roasted pork, which was being cooked on a spit outside the restaurant (it was a sunny warm day...).
It looks (too) modern inside, but service is efficient & friendly and food is very good and cheap.
And by the way, that roasted pork tasted even better than it semelled...
A nice place to visit if you are at Vila Nova da Barquinha, or if you are visiting the nearby Castelo de Almourol

Went there two evenings as we had an event near by. Both nights the food was of excellent quality, traditional Portuguese cuisine, I had my favourite polvo à lagareiro both nice tough tried some other dishes from other participants and all was fabulous. Don't know any other restaurants at Torres Vedras, but this one was definitely good choice.

Very short menu: codfish or grilled chicken.
But in this case is not about variety... is all about quantity and quality!
Ingredient quality, well cooked and big portions make this restaurant a favorite in the area.
Service can be below par on busy times. But staff is always friendly and service is fast.
Parking is easy but on the backyard, there is not enough parking in the front so make sure you ask instructions for the back parking.
House green wine is good if you are a green wine drinker. Otherwise wine list is limited but at good prices.
