El Reno is a city in and county seat of Canadian County, Oklahoma, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 16,729. The city was begun shortly after the 1889 land rush and named for the nearby Fort Reno. It is located in the central part of the state, approximately 25 miles (40 km) west of downtown Oklahoma City, and is part of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Statistical Area.

We were near El Reno and had heard of Sid's so we made a point of having lunch here. We arrived at 11:15 hoping to avoid the rush and we were glad we did as there was only one table left. (If I counted correctly, there are 9 stools at the counter and 5 tables here.)
Service was very quick and very pleasant and our meals arrived shortly. The portions were very generous and even though the fries were huge we managed to eat them all.
We all had onion burgers of various toppings and all were excellent. I also tried the Coney and it was good, but not as good as the burgers.
We're glad we stopped in and had the experience of dining at Sid's!

BRAUM'S everywhere has great ice cream treats, probably other foods. We're travelers & just found this chain this week. Our ICE CREAM was GREAT, & reasonably priced. The many others that we've been to have had great facilities & parking. This Braum's has a tiny lot; vehicles enter & leave the same place. The place was VERY busy, at 8:30; good business !! The dining area, & restrooms had trash on the floor. Servers were bumping servers while removing trash from cans. One server had hair hanging in his face & a toothpick hanging outa his mouth. The blinds were hanging cockeyed, like a "3rd rate greasy spoon joint." Mr BRAUM'S, why is this happening !!! Maybe they need competition ??

This place is easily as good as coffee places in larger cities. I had the latte and a scone and was really pleased. It's in a historic building in downtown El Reno, so it's a nice atmosphere.
The only negative is that the interior is all hard surfaces, so the noise level can be high enough to make conversation difficult.
I understand they occasionally have live music, but not the Saturday morning I was there.

We ate dinner together tonight. We normally don't take the whole family but tonight we did. Swadley's has the best brisket and pulled pork. Oh man it's good!!!! Their bread and butter pickles are delectable. Great start to the weekend

Pecina's is a great little place---popular with locals and tourists. Service and food was quick and delicious. Prices were just right. Specials at lunch. Our server was very friendly. Worth going a short way off the highway. We will be back.

Traveling through El Reno, we decided to stop for lunch at Johnnie's Grill based on Trip Advisor reviews! So glad we did. Love the diner atmosphere. I had the coney with chili and slaw (homemade and absolutely delicious) while my husband had an onion burger. We shared half orders of onion rings and tator tots that were so crisp and not greasy. The food was soooooo delicious! Prices are good, service is friendly and efficient, and they have the best coffee! Will definitely stop here again!

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Excellent wine selection and great food. This very classy place located in the "Rock District" Downtown El Reno is quite unique and provides a very relaxing environment to enjoy delicious sandwiches and great soups.
As an Art gallery Our Glass supports local artist many of pictures are for sale. Our Glass is definitely worth a visit.
