Egersund is a town in Eigersund municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The town is located along the southwestern coast of Norway, about 75 kilometres (47 mi) south of the city of Stavanger. The town is situated along a strait which separates the mainland from the island of Eigerøya. The 6.36-square-kilometre (1,570-acre) village has a population (2015) of 11,473 which gives the town a population density of 1,804 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,670/sq mi).

Our family enjoyed a well cooked meal with great service.
Starters of fried king prawns, BBQ spare ribs and spring rolls were delicious. Probably the first of those was the most exciting.
Mains of sweet & sour beef & pork (balls), Peking duck and prawn curry were also scrumptious.
Banana fritters and apple cake completed an excellent meal.

Our family have enjoyed several meals here. Service is great. It's not the most salubrious place but the food is good. Best sweet & sour we've found in Norway! Our recommendations: deep fried prawns to start; sweet & sour: prawn or pork or beef; hot Peking duck; fried rice; banana fritters.
We'll be back!

Might be a little bias since we biked all day from Stavanger but this place serves good sized portions of delicious food at good prices. Friendly, fast service.Dear customer! The server was very attentive and friendly, giving lots of information and allowing sample tasting of different ices. The ice creams and sorbets were homemade and really delicious. The small courtyard to the rear is nice to sit in to enjoy the treats.
A shame though that the kitchen staff from the adjacent pizza & kebab house used the courtyard as a smoking area. Fortunately, our family were finished and ready to go by the time they lit up...

We've been here a few times. Mainly for coffees and hot chocolate but occasionally for lunch. Everything is of good quality with a pleasant ambiance. The cappuccinos and lattes are particularly good. The best coffee that we know of in the area. Not the biggest place though.

Aunts, nieces and children met for lunch a lovely Saturday. We sat outside in the Sunshine with a view of the Harbour. After a quick look at the menu, we started discussing what we wanted to eat. An other table was eating some good-looking nachos, but we couldn't find it on the menu. When we asked the waitress she snapped at my cousin and said yes you have the right menu. When asked about the nachos, she said no it is not on the menu. Then we asked what the other table was eating, the waitress answered in a huff that yes it was nachos, and if we absolutely wanted nachos they could probably make something like that. The tone was so off-putting we nearly left. But we were all hungry and the children couldn't wait too long.
But when the food came, the taste was good. A nice burger with cheese and bacon, served up on a nice wooden board. Conclusion : food good, service not very good.

Enormous selection of beer; both local and foreign. Cozy interior og happy people behind the bar. Go and enjoy! Closes a bit early though, so this is not a place to go for late-night-patying!Hi, thanks for a super review! Just want to clarify about the beer selection: We only serve Norwegian made beer, but in almost every international style and from a broad selection of Norwegian Breweries. I have visited this place only once together with a business friend. The service was uninspired and the waitress did not seem interested in making our experience a nice one. Our dish was not very tasty and we actually had to order a second dish to get enough food. The meny was very small .
