They serve amazing sourdough burgers. Although the restaurant is quite small, they do handle many orders promptly. They also provide call in and take out orders.

We went in at 9:15 on a Monday and they close at 10:00, but they gave us excellent and friendly service.
Food was very good. Happy we found this place passing through and didn’t get stuck eating fast food.
Salsa and bean dip and chips was excellent as well. Will return if in the area again.

We had dinner at Edna Seafood on Friday, February 12, 2016. This is the first time we have dined here and we probably won’t return. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and our drink orders were placed. When the drinks arrived we gave our server our dinner requests and waited for a short time before receiving the large platter of food. The fish was mushy. The hush puppies were good enough but the stuffed shrimp was stuffed with the same batter. The fried shrimp were ok. The coleslaw was a bowl of mayonnaise with bits of vegetable here and there. We may have done better by ordering from the Chinese food section of the menu but we will never know.

The Pinto Bean was recommended to us. Since there aren't many options in a small town, we were excited to try something different from our usual Mexican restaurant when visiting Edna. We went on a Friday night and the parking lot was packed. We were still able to get a seat immediately and had attentive service by Art all evening despite the busy environment. They have a full bar, which apparently had been recently expanded. If you get a margarita I would recommend a top shelf w/ Grand Marnier -- they don't automatically make top shelf w/ this -- I had to ask. And the prices are cheaper than Houston for sure on the margs. so it's worth upgrading. I was tickled to find that queso comes with the salsa and chips -- not the best I've had, but I was happy for the complimentary treat. Fajitas for one made our jaws drop. There was enough meat there for at least 3 people! What a deal! Also, the beef was succulent and grilled to perfection! I noticed that someone complained about the refried beans in a previous review. I am a HUGE fan of refried beans and found these to be some of the best I've had anywhere -- thick and creamy and full of flavor. The food and drinks were tasty and reasonably priced, but what struck us most was the EXCELLENT service we got on such a busy night! We look forward to going back!

This is an old gas station converted into a restaurant. But our meal was excellent and a bargain to boot. I think most folks do take out but we ate in. Not a lot of ambience which is why I gave it a 4. Also all plastic ware. But the place is clean and the staff were friendly. Lunch menu for $6.95 included a egg roll (it was not greasy), an entree, their fried rice or white rice and a drink. I had shrimp & brocolli with the fried rice. Brocolli was cooked perfectly. It was a generous portion and had lots of flavor. Also a thumbs up for the fried rice. My husband had a spicy chicken dish which he said was excellent as well. We were just driving through town and decided to stop and where not disappointed.

On a Saturday morning the donuts were fresh, the selection was good, the service was quick and friendly and the coffee was good diner coffee. There are tables to sit at and rest rooms. The place is spotlessly clean.

Ok, I have stopped here on several occasions and I must say that this Whataburger is one of the best. The buns are always soft and the service is consistently good. I make it a point to stop here when traveling to and from Houston . FYI great parking area on the south side if you are towing a trailer .

Stopped in on a road trip and was surprised how nice and clean this one was. We sat inside and ate for a while and the whole place was just nice plus the food was good .

Good homestyle food is prepared here at the Morales Store in Edna, Texas. My husband and I ate an awesome cheeseburger and blt sandwiches at this unique country cafe that is also a small, grocery store. Seasoned fries were delicious and served piping hot. Order at the counter, grab a drink from the cooler or some tea, and pay when you leave. There is seating and cool signs with life advice or funny sayings that adorn the walls. Local folks and the staff at the Morales Store were extremely friendly. We enjoyed our experience and glad we learned about this little gem from others who had passed through Edna.

Average hamburger. Quality ins not great and the service was average. Unfortunately there are not a lot of other options in this desolated piece of land.
