Food is of good quality for this type of restaurant. Sandwiches are large and usually served with potato chips. A better value than McDonald's or Subway. Pizza was better than average, mine had lots of toppings. A must try are the homemade pies.

Nicks has been a long standing eatery in Durand. They have expanded and updated the building several times. They have a large menu and a good variety. Priced at a fare price for what you get. A good place for an intiment setting or big enough for a large group.

Our family recently met at Johnny Vs for dinner. We called ahead. Our table was waiting for us. Our server was great and the food was wonderful. I enjoyed the pulled pork meal. It is served naked or with sauce according to your personal tastes.

A great place for pizza in Byron. Would recommend giving this place a try. We had the Buffalo Chicken pizza with Cajun thick crust. Would definitely eat here again.

the food and service was very good.The young lady; hostess/server was very, very helpful and friendly. I will go back. I was there to support my friend(surrogate daughter) as she made arrangements fo a funeral dinner for her family.

Stopped for lunch and ordered a build your own burger. I asked for Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms and sautéed onions. The patty was very big and hand crafted. The sandwich was wonderful as well as the lady that waited on me. Will return.

We stopped in here for a quick drink and ended up hanging out and chatting with the bar tender and other customers...Its just that type of place! The people are very social and nice to talk to...The drinks are served fast and are very good! Small little local bar in Gaines...worth the time spent there.

If you ever venture to the town of Durand, Jim's Pizza is a must stop! Thin style pizza with loaded topping and a homemade sauce makes this place a pizza gem in Michigan. The owner is in there making pizzas daily and it just has a small town atmosphere and comfort level. There is some seating inside, but for the most part "take out" is ideal for this establishment.

Wonderful fast service. Cool decor inside the restaurant, which was very clean. Pizza is the best around. Always friendly and attentive staff. Apparently they make the biggest pizza in shiawassee county. Ice cream was good too. Fried oreos are delicious and a unique treat.
