We were greeted with a look of shock when we said we had no reservation on a public holiday lunchtime. In the end it was no problem & a table for 2 on the deck was our choice. A perfect sunny day with a view to the lake & vines over the well kept lawns.
First class service was provided by our waiter Thomas, a lovely attentive French fellow who spared some time to chat with us as he fixed the wobble to our table voluntarily.
If you are after a fine dining experience on the Mornington Peninsula then Stillwater at Crittenden have that sewn up. Starched napkins placed in your lap, shining cutlery & glasses added or withdrawn depending on your menu choices. This is the kind of service that makes me feel special.
The 2 or 3 course set menu on offer on weekends had me deliberating & we opted for 2 course entree & main.
Smoked Murray Cod starter was excellent & my Duck main was to die for. Crispy skin rendered to perfection. My friend chose the Sesame seared Tuna & Morroccan Lamb, she was also happy with her choices. We both opted for wines from Crittendens Guipetto range at $9 per glass & 10% public holiday surcharge on our bill was expected.
This was my 3rd visit to Stillwater at Crittenden over a period of about 10 years & I have never been disappointed, even the toilets impress, with french hand soap on tap.
A beautiful venue in a picturesque garden setting with a Cellar door on site as well.

Quaint little club. Friendly staff great food at a reasonable price. Good menu with something for everyone We were walk ons and will be back a lot of venues bigger and flasher bit of you want fantastic pub grub at a reasonable price try this establishment.

We happened upon this little gem of a place on a recent trip around the Mornington Peninsula.
Great location, knowledgeable staff, good selection of wines by the glass and a menu that is a nice change from the typical cafe style food.
We enjoyed the roast pumpkin pizza and the wombok salad. Both dishes were fresh, delicious and filling.
If circumstances were different I could have quite easily settled in for the afternoon but had things to do and places to go.

The restaurant was mostly empty but received poor service from staff with attitude problems
Only 1 of 4 dishes satisfied our party. The food tasted very ordinary was disappointing and was over priced. The coffee was ok
It’s a shame as this restaurant has a nice ambiance overlooking the bay and on a warm day can be a nice place to grab a glass of wine

Rustic and unpretentious this is an authentic working winery and Brewery. Beautiful views over the vineyards to Port Philip Bay. All wines and Hix craft beers are made on site and all food is prepared fresh from local ingredients. Cobblestone floor means dress appropriately. Both indoor and outdoor eating options in Summer months, open fire inside during Winter months. Live musical entertainment both Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4pm. Children are welcome but must be supervised by adults. Can cater for weddings, birthdays and other family events.

Sunday lunch in the winter sun, drinking nice wine and tasting some craft beers while listening to a quite good band. Could not have asked for more.

We have seen how busy this venue is on a regular basis and had not visited thinking it was always too busy. However, today was the day and we loved our visit very much and will definitely visit again to sample the degustation menu for the quail and the salmon and miso sauce. Serves are small but expertly presented and very tasty.
Staff are very attentive and we loved that everyone seemed to be enjoying looking after their clientele. Wines are interesting and tempting -
ice cream was a treat at the end, so make sure you leave room for that!

We had booked a family table of 8 to celebrate Mother's Day and enjoy the days set menu.
Pros: An easy drive from Melbourne. The venue was well located with good car parking. Having a set menu ($75 for 4 courses) was convenient for our group booking - menu attached. I enjoyed the local sautéed mushroom and dessert, Belgian chocolate tart with espresso cream. Wine was good value and was ok, it complimented the food well.
Cons: Service was disappointing, staff were rushed and slam every dish on the table. Several of my dishes were ruined with the dish not being centred and garnishes which had fallen off - not how the food should be presented. There was a misunderstanding with one food item, staff reacted very unprofessionally with attitude blaming customers. There was no understanding whatsoever even though I resolved the issue. There was a lack of customer service overall throughout the afternoon as they barely smiled.

We were impressed by the large selection of dishes that they offered for people with various food allergies. The regular menu was also extensive with investing breakfast ideas, far more than your eggs on toast that other cafe's offer. Good coffee, great variety, tasty food.

This little Pizza place in Dromana serves one of the best gourmet pizzas in Mornington if not Melbourne.
The Pizzas here are made with love and as all things done with love, taste absolutely delicious with flavors busting from every corner of your mouth in every bite you take.
They even have great deals where if you buy 2 large pizzas, you get a garlic bread or small pizza free or with 3 large pizzas you get another large pizza for free.
Head here if you are around Dromana for the Christmas holidays. It’s delicious.

There’s a huge queue and there’s 4 staff, 2 mocking around the back and the lady who’s taking the orders was just chatting away to this guy as if she’s blind and can’t see that there’s 10 people waiting.
If you want to chat away then hire someone else who can assist your customers better. Or go and have a date with that guy if you’re going to completely ignore the amount of people waiting.
Never ever going back.
