We have eaten here twice now on our travels through WY. In fact, we plan to stay in Douglas just to eat here for dinner. We get a HUGE draft beer for $4, and this time I had the pulled port street tacos. My husband...MoreWe are so happy you came back. It is our pleasure to serve you. Thanks for the kind words.

I stop by Lindy's every now and then, she makes a variety of lattes and other drinks. The pumpkin spice is particularly tasty. Lindy herself is usually working, she is a really nice lady. Lattes are pretty sweet usually, sugar typically already added. I recommend for a quick coffee on the way through town or on way to work.

Eastern Wyoming is probably one of the last places I would expect to find a Japanese restaurant, let alone one staffed & run by actual Japanese, and especially one that is serving TERRIFIC food, but here it was! I was so pleased that we ate there twice during our brief (eclipse-watching) stay in town, and had a great meal both times.
The decor is modern and very interesting, with curious pinpoint light shows on the ceiling and a totally cool-looking set of bubble panels between two of the rooms, which fizzed and changed colors constantly. Booths were comfy, and there was a large banquette that was very useful for our large party (18 people). I've seen other reviews grumbling about the slow service, but the waitstaff was practically on roller skates for our two visits, and what's more, I was actually greeted by one of our waiters the next day in another part of town, where we were buying iced coffee, as he recognized me!
Most importantly, however, was the excellent quality of food; there is no such thing as so-so sushi --- it's either very good, or inedible. Theirs was very good, and some of the platters and bento dinners were practically works of art. You can even have brown rice instead of the usual white, if you like. The only paltry quibble I could bring up was that the dipping sauce for the tempura was a little bland, but this is a pretty so-what detail all in all. If I ever manage to visit Douglas again, I would not hesitate to go here for a meal.

A great small-town diner, with typical diner fare: burgers and pizzas, with some 'specials' on the weekends. Service has always been good, usually done by local HS students. Their pizzas are usually pretty good, but you need to check your crust before leaving the restaurant (if placing a to go order) because we've wound up with pretty burnt crusts before.

Always a favorite with my family. The small town sports bar type feel makes you feel at home while watching the game and is still family friendly. They have 4 televisions and are very accommodating to whatever game you want to watch. The Benjamin Franklin is our favorite but you cannot go wrong with any pizza you choose. Don't forget to add the doughknots it's their take on a cheese stick and like none you've ever tasted.

Just had dinner at La Costa. I feel very lucky to have come upon this restaurant in this little town in Wyoming. I had the tortilla soup which was full of vegetables, plus a large piece of handed-shredded chicken. I say "hand-shredded" because I was in another Mexican restaurant yesterday and you could tell the chicken was put through a machine. It does make a difference. It was topped with soft, gooey cheese, avocado, and tortilla strips. It was a bit spicy, but I enjoyed it. It was a meal in itself. My husband had the carnitas res which was the special. Very tasty. Very large portions of food. Very pleasant staff, nice decor. I would definitely recommend La Costa.

I asked around town and several people mentioned this place. One said it doesn't look like much outside but the food is good. After attempting horrible food at the village inn last night I was running out of options. I entered, seat yourself, prompt and friendly service. I'm on a no carb diet so I requested a modification of their western omelet (because I don't like all the cheese) and I got it just the way I requested & fast! OMG! loved the food and will be back tonight for dinner!!!

Was a great alternative to fast food places. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Owners are quite friendly. We will be back of we go that way again.

When in Wyoming, there's not a lot of choice along the highway, so you can take what you can get. Thankfully, we could get a Subway and have some vegetables after what seemed to be a diet of bread, meat, cheese, and potatoes on our trip thus far. They had baby spinach as a topping, and I did partake gladly of it.

I am very glad that we stopped on our way through Douglas. Nice and clean, very large, the bartender was very knowledgeable and all the beers were delicious! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area
