Ein sehr gutes Restaurant mit einer sehr guten Küche haben wir in Dormagen - Nievenheim gefunden. Die Speisenkarte ist groß und somit findet man immer etwas leckeres. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Restaurant hat außerdem eine gute, gepflegte Kegelbahn. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zum essen und zum kegeln.

My friends took me to this wonderful little restaurant. The menu featured traditional German foods. I had schnitzel and spargel - the best I had my entire trip. The service was excellent. The dessert was amazing - they had several specials featuring fresh strawberries. It has nice courtyard Seating. It was a very relaxing wonderful dinner.

...which was just a simple Margherita, no taste to it and rather expensive. Had a risotto here on another occasion which was just about o.k...staff is friendly but in some strange manner...not going back here...

We have been here a few times and always enjoy the casual friendly atmosphere, attentive service and nice pub food. Btw. the burgers here are to be recommended and can truly compete with a top class American diner in the US. We'll be back.

I was in the hotel and I was searching something outside and avoid to stay in the hotel. At the end, I choose to stay here and it was a great choice.
Appetizer: pumpkin soup. very satisfactory.
Steak: well cook, more tender than other restaurants.
Wine: I wanted a german red wine, and it was ok. We know that german wines are not like italian or french, on average I mean.
dessert: sesam mousse. Very interesting.
Price. around 45 €. I think it's a good value for what I ate.

I was in the area on business when a local suggested this restaurant to me. It was a little expensive, but the food was very good. I loved the mustard seed paste on the steak. It made it quite unique. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop for dinner and then take a stroll around the town. It was worth the detour!!!
