This is a favorite restaurant of my sister’s, so for her birthday, this where we went. They have something for everyone: steak, salads, pasta, seafood! I had the Yummy Mahi Mahi with angel hair pasta. The servings are very large, so go hungry! Bread starts the meal, then soup/salad comes with entree. The cheesy bacon potato soup was delicious. This place is very popular and very busy. Wait staff was busy but thorough and attentive. We also sat at the round table vs booth or inner tables, so it was more comfortable than those that can be crowded. Go at an off time, and you will be happy.

If you love homemade bread, pies, cakes and of course donuts then this is the place for you. Everything is made on premises and delicious. Ordered a cake for birthday and was beautiful! Their bread is so soft and flavorful you won't want just one loaf. Get going to Davison for a real treat

Wonderful food and plenty of it, for a reasonable price. Extremely friendly staff. And clean. Probably one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in. If I lived locally, this would be my go-to restaurant. One note on the pulled pork nachos, I swear that's the biggest plate of nachos I have ever seen. My husband ordered it and he devoured about 3/4 of it. He said he was so good, he couldn't stop eating it.

As always...Whitey's not fancy, but reasonable, very good. For some reason,
we always like going to Whitey's...guess it must be the good service, the salad bar and the wide selections available on the menu!
Some of the best fish and chips, baked cod, shrimp, or steaks, around.
if you feel like having dessert, good choices abound there too.
For us, there's nothing better than being at this "family place" for a good drink, a great meal, and sharing the visit with family and friends. It's always the same...good!

Having had Great Mexican food, Epcot at Disney World, we weren't satisfied any longer with local Mexican cuisine, where the competition is plenty. Happen to ask my wife's coworker, who is Mexican, where does she go? The rest is history, didn't even know this restaurant was there. Reminds me of childhood dinner outings with my parents. Great tasting Mexican food, and plenty of it. I always choose the combination plate, nice assortment including homemade tomales. Their chips and salsa are homemade as well, for a slight charge, not free like the old days. Lunchtime crowd gets busy, but that is what you should expect if the food is good, and clearly it is.

We were traveling from Canada to Kalamazoo and stopped off for gas and a bite to eat. Well, we had never heard of the place but decided to stop in and we are so glad that we did. It was outstanding. The waiter was wonderful and helpful. We tried the baked pasta dish with meat sauce and fresh mushrooms. It was huge and delicious. I ate only a quarter of it and loved the taste. My husband thought I had combined it with my friend's dinner because it was so large. I will go back again and try some other pasta dishes as they make it themselves and the tomato sauce is outstanding! I would highly recommend eating here.

Stopped here for lunch. It's located at the farmers market location. Great menu. Fresh food. I had the tortilla soup. Awesome! And the BBQ Chicken wrap. Also great. Wife had the veggie pizza. Daughter had Mac n Cheese. Prizes great. Quantities big. We took food home. Only recommendation is to add a few chips with the wraps/sandwiches. And maybe a 1/2 pickle slice. Overall, definitely stop here again when in the area.

A usual stopping place for us returning home from Michigan. The favourite is the 2 for $20 meal selections, which comes with appetizer and selection of 2 main courses. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. The attempt to upsell always makes us laugh. After ordering our appetizer they always ask if we would like to start with soup or salad. And then the tempting dessert selection attempt at the end of the meal. "No thank you miss. I weigh 160 pounds because I don't want to weigh 260 pounds!" They don't always get that line...Highly recommend this restaurant. The shift manager always stops by to ensure everything is as ordered.

On a recent road trip, we stopped for gas and were delighted to discover the Flag City Diner! What a hidden gem.
It has a lengthy menu, like most diners, with all the favorites. I have included a photo of the key page of the menu. Service was great, food was very good, portions are more that generous!
I highly recommend this place for a filling, tasty, low cost meal! Three adults had their fill for UNDER $30.

I have enjoyed their pizza for years and it has always been good and the price is good. The service they have there is great I remember when I called right when they were closing and I needed one for a late party coming over and the still made one for us. This is a nice local place for pizza.
