They roast their own coffee beans. Variety of coffee drinks as well as bagels, muffins, etc. Sandwiches, soups and salads at lunch time. Service is exceptional. All their food is great.
I believe the salad vegetables were still in the garden yesterday! What a great variety of lunch choices for a small place. Not a big coffee drinker but they have all a coffee lover could want. Great place to meet friends over a cup of java!

My wife and I were in Danville to visit my brother and his wife. They took us to Golden Leaf for lunch. It was wonderful! The restaurant sits in an old building in what was once the industrial part of Danville. There are hints of the building's past built into the decor, which makes for an interesting space. The service was very good, and so was the food. Around our table there were two salmon wraps, a bacon cheeseburger, and a beef and cheddar panini. All the food was delicious. I look forward to returning!

Wanted a quick inexpensive endive lunch and found O'Kelly's on TripAdvisor. Combo 1/2 BBQ chip and a drink was just what I was looking for. Portion size was generous. Fast and easy with very friendly staff. The rolls they use are soft yeast variety and was best part of sandwich. BBQ was nothing special but it hit the spot. For what I paid I was happy and would go back and try other things.

Recently transferred to Danville and this was the first restaurant that we ate in. Great lunch specials, true authentic Mexican tastes, very reasonably priced. Service is quick and friendly. Very clean, also quite ( no blaring music to hide the sounds from the kitchen). Have eaten here at least 4 times since November 2017 and each experience was really good. My favorite Danville restaurant so far.

Wonderful Italian restaurants with all the "feel good" foods. They have a large salad bar and quiet seating. The lasagna was served hot and very delicious. Service was good. My husband frequents here often due to racing at VIR. My first time. We will return.

This may offer the worst service I have seen at a Chick-fil-A. I saw at least 15 workers of which maybe 5 were working. Some were on cell phones, others eating, most just playing around and joking with other workers. At dinner time, 5:00 PM, I saw one poorly trained fellow doing his best to maintain one cash register for many guests. I came back for ice cream cone and waited 10 minutes while others roamed around, played and fooled with cell phones. No manager visible. Ice Cream was frozen with ice crystals mixed in, yuck...

Come here when you have time to relax and enjoy the slow pace. This small restaurant almost unrecognizable on the street is a wonderful Thai restaurant. Relaxing environment with plants, lighting and music. The staff are very helpful with the menu.
We had a table of 8 and everyone enjoyed our relaxed dinner.
Enjoy this pleasant surprise!

We are a gourmet burger & craft beer restaurant. We are a small family owned restaurant in a historic building in our downtown River District. We change our menu quarterly and our draft beers often, featuring local, state and nation craft beer favorites.
Ate here for a birthday dinner. Appetizers were good. Pimento cheese dip and tomato jam was great. Fried pickles were also good. Burgers were fresh and tasty. Daniel Silva was the best. Tolkien burger was too hot with siracha aioli pepper jack and jalapeños. Might back off a little on the heat.

Cotton at Riverside Mill offers thoughtful food, and Danville's first al fresco seating overlooking the Dan River. Raising the standard for local dining, Cotton at Riverside Mill serves fire-roasted pizza, premium burgers, salads, and other tempting entrées.
Great burgers, pizza, soups, salads, and other food. Variety of craft beers and wide selection of other adult beverages. Very cool retro vibe using large advertising posters of the clothing made by the fabrics historically produced in Danville. Beautiful decor. Friendly service. Appeals to a...MoreThanks so much for the wonderful review! You nailed us down pretty well. We enjoy being here in Danville tremendously, it already feels like home. This is one of two restaurants owned by the same people. The other location is in Martinsville, VA. Owners have been featured on Food Network.
They have amazing daily specials that are so cheap it's almost unbelievable. All the meals come with these amazing hush puppies (the best I've had), but I have to say for a BBQ joint the pulled pork was just average. The sauce on the table was a vinegar based sauce and very watery, which I was not used to. I like more of a sweet bbq sauce. If you're looking for a quick cheap lunch - this is the place, but otherwise I was underwhelmed.
