Had a very expensive banquet. Amuse Bouche was too salty. Carpaccio was absolutely outstanding. Don't normally order fish but this was quite nicely cooked. Sorbets were too much in terms of variety and quantity - my favourite was pear, least favourite citron, which was way too sour. Complimentary biscuits at the end, but I'm not a huge biscuit person. Wine recommendations were superb. Restaurant, whilst more expensive, was much calmer than the adjoining cafe. Good, friendly service.

My wife and I ate here in April, 2012. Our waitress was very polite and helpful. The pizza was OK, but my steak & salad were very good. The owner stopped by our table to make sure everything was fine, which was a nice touch.

Without question the filet de Perche is the freshest and prepared perfectly always, and includes delicious fries.
The restaurant always starts with a lovely fresh small green salad.
We finish with the chocolate mousse, delicious! And a very good coffee ice cream.
This was our fifth time here, over four years. The table on the Terrace overlooking the harbor is delightful.
And the service is warm, and prompt.
We will return again and again, definitely a favorite.

In the village of Chexbres just off the main street you will find UME, a small and discreet restaurant serving Asian cuisine prepared to excellent standards.
Everything we chose (especially the fried beef) was very good, including the vegetables that were actually oriental (and not the usual rice with peas and corn often on offer in Switzerland).
The staff was friendly. The service was correct and not too lengthy.
And pricing was fair. Unexpected and most satisfying.

Very nice restaurant located in the heart of the Lavaux, world UNESCO Patrimony. We serve "Bistronomic Cuisine" elaborated with fresh products from the market.
We had the pleasure of eating here with friends whilst on a short holiday in Cully, it was a very good experience. The food was excellent, well presented and very good service and not too expensive, well worth a change from the more expensive restaurants in the town.

Outside on the Terrace is where to be and Reservations are best in the evening. The food is generally good but not particularly exciting - plenty of options on the menu but the principal favourite are the filets de perche. If they come from the Lac Leman then on the menu they are allowed to state that and if not they can come from just about anywhere. We personally found them somewhat dry but enjoyed our meal nevertheless. There are other options but we would recommend that you order fish of some kind. Service is OK but when the restaurant is really busy then you may need some patience. All in all no real complaints but there are probably other local restaurants where the filets de perche may be better. Sitting outside just by the lake is always an enjoyable experience.

The Beau-Rivage Palace has placed Anne-Sophie Pic at the helm of the kitchens of its fine-dining restaurant. While continuing to preside over her restaurant in Valence (France), the three star Michelin chef has entrusted the realisation of her creations to Kevin Gatin. The restaurant has been awarded two stars in the Michelin guide and 18/20 in the Gault Millau.
Along with my partner we decided to try out our first 2-star Michelin restaurant in Switzerland for celebrating our first year together and couldn't be more satisfied of that choice.
We both had the 'Emotion' menus but of different kinds (Turbot and the other which unfortunately I don't recall the name... ).
The main surprise for me was the full table of fresh and aged cheeses. The staff did a fine job of explaining in which order they should be served and briefly describing the flavor of each.
To conclude this (very) short review, we were very impressed by the service, food and location. Certainly worth going back.

he Auberge de la Gare is ideally situated at the heart of the vineyards of Lavaux and enjoys a panoramic view over Lake Geneva. The Lavaux Vineyard Terraces have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2007, in recognition of their cultural and natural value. The Auberge is ideally suited for both business and leisure stays. Parking is available at the front of the Auberge. The restaurant and café, which extends onto a large Terrace with views over Lake Geneva, serves local cuisine, including the regional specialties of “filets de perche” and beef tartare. The menu is regularly updated to reflect the season’s produce. You will find our restaurant in the Guide Gault and Millau, Michelin as well as the Swiss Guild of Restaurateurs. Please note that our restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday, and we strongly recommend that you reserve in advance so as not to be disappointed. For outdoor dining looking out at Lutry Port on Lake Geneva, nothing beats this casual restaurant with great food and wonderful service. On summer evenings, musicians play making the atmosphere even more charming.
