For those who prefer to eat early, know that dinner doesn't begin service until 7 pm. Since we weren't staying at the resort, we relied on the hours open posted here. The bar was nice to sit at for a cocktail while we waited. Their rum punch is strong and very tasty! As others have said, this is a set menu, but you get a choice of 2 mains for dinner, and then receive soup, salad and several sides on your main plate, as well as a dessert choice. The food was quite tasty. Service was friendly and relatively fast. I'm glad we read reviews and looked at pictures, to know that this was a dressier place than most on the island.

Had crab and callalloo and dumpling at this crown point seaside resort. We found the crab a bit hard to crack, but overall the dishes were very tasty.

Super nice server (?owner) and delicious food. For this island, the food came out very nice and quick, and was quite tasty. We had waffle with eggs and bacon, as well as a BLT. We had the orange and banana juice, as well as the watermelon juice - both so fresh and sweet! Coffee was weak, but then I'm picky about coffee. Would definitely return.

All served with care and speed. One of the nicest meals and just round the corner from Coco Reef our fab hotel. Highly recommend.

We only went here once, but it was excellent.
Pizza was authentic, all ingredients fresh, and absolutely delicious. The pizzas are quite big, so consider this when ordering. The only tiny criticism was thet they brought our starters and pizza at the same time. It was lovely though.
Staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly.
Will be visiting when we go back next year.

Fed up of hotel food so wife & I popped into here. It is a large inside Seating restaurant with plenty of tables. There are a row of baine marie with food in. You get a choice of one main meat and one or two sides. There is usually jerk, bbq, roast chicken ribs and beef stew. Sides are noodles, rice, black beans and salad. This is not necessarily fresh cooked so some items were luke warm but very tasty. There are dispensor pumps with bbq and chilli sauces. Very nice food and cheap, 45TT$ each for the two side option. We found the two girls serving us to be less than interested and at the till we had to go back and ask for knife and fork and extra napkins. When i asked for salt, she looked dazed then just said no. There is better but with little or no Seating so ill give it 3 stars as tasty food, which is what we wanted.

Staying at the Tropikist nearby we were looking for some decent food!! We stumbled across this little gem. I ate the King Fish and my partner had the Grouper which was delicious. Service was fantastic and the wait for food was not very long. The menu is good and actually I felt spoilt for choice.
If you are looking for a great place to eat in the Crown Point area then this is the place for you.

Firstly the name is Dillon's Backyard Cafe, which is very misleading. It functioned as a full fledged restaurant. My local relatives chose this restaurant to have a family dinner over the Christmas holidays. We were in for a treat. The chef was very engaging and provided excellent feedback on the menu including the "catch of the day" which was on it's way to the restaurant while we were seated. I cannot say how impressed I was with the chef who expertly dealt with our orders especially with a large party having a large dinner, he was the real MVP. The wait staff were ordinary at best and can learn a thing or two from the chef's lead. The dishes were absolutely DELICIOUS, I had the seafood platter and would highly recommend it, the papaya salsa was excellent. All in all it was a great culinary experience involving mostly local food well seasoned and prepared. I would definitely go back again. This restaurant deserved 5 stars but lost one star due to the wait staff.

First time here several of us spent an afternoon here enjoying the sun and view of the water. We really enjoyed the afternoon chatting at our table in the sun and having beers. The service from the owner (Shirley?) Was quite good. The rum punches were not memorable but ok. They served us tasty garlic bread as the day wore on. We were happy enough with that first visit that we told the owner we would be back in a few days to enjoy dinner there. She made sure to introduce the manager who would be working that night. Lamentably, when the night came we were sorely disappointed by a 2 hour wait for our meals that included lobster that was served with no sides. The manager we had previously met could not be located. Not sure if I will visit there in the evenings ever again.... we will make it back for a daytime lime however.

We dined here twice during our stay in Crown Point which shows we were happy with the food. Tasty and large portions. Service was friendly but a little inefficient- forgetting to take orders, starters served with mains, incorrect dishes etc. Worth going but double check your order and if you feel you've been left waiting a while, make sure they haven't forgotten you!
