This excellent restaurant is only open 4 months, WED-SAT I believe. They only take 12 diners a night, and the start times are nicely staggered to accommodate everyone. The menu is very interesting. They only do a handful of things, but they are done very well. Everything was delicious and exotic with an Asian twist. Ambiance is excellent and mellow. Thank you Hans!

Loved the food at this fusion cuisine restaurant in Ojochal, South of Uvita. It was too warm today during lunch time to enjoy all the wonderful dishes on the menu, so I must go back for dinner.
We had an amazing ceviche, a tuna sashimi and salmon roll appetizer and a fresh snapper perfectly cooked with a delicious sweet potato pure.
I will be back soon to try more dishes soon.

We had dinner at the Mamma e Papa. The owners are extremely friendly and offer great service. We ordered salad, home made pasta, the pork meat, calamari and lemon pie. Excellent food for a reasonable price. Highly recommended for Italian food.

Very good atmosphere and service, somewhat above average food. We had a really good time because the place is very cozy and nice, but the prices were excessive (over US$300.00 for 6 people without wine or drinks). It's more expensive than similar places in Europe or in the US.
This was not the first time I was there but probably will be the last since there are plenty of other choices out there.

...and the most expensive!
This is a 5 star restaurant. The chef is amazing. All the food is locally sourced and what is in season, fresh and mostly organic. The presentation and the staff were outstanding.
I enjoyed a Shrimp Ceasar salad and had a Shrimp Entree. Chocolate crepe for dessert. Incredible!!!
The restaurant is located at a small boutique hote (El Castillo), which has amazing ocean and river views. When we were there, the hotel was quiet, so we were fortunate to sit by the poolside, with our feet in the water - enjoying a cocktail before sitting at our table. Stunning setting.

We enjoyed sopa de mariscos, in the lively restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and open air. We have had lunch here as well.

Food was delicious (cheese platter was especially tasty) and fresh lemonade was tart and refreshing. The ambiance was beautiful, with lots of exotic flowers and a tranquil setting. Would definitely return here for a bite to eat.thank you for enjoying Pancito Cafe See you again Philippe

It has a nice view. Waitress service is very good but unfortunately the time to get food is above what you would expect. The first plate out of four was serve within 15 minutes so we were good. 2 more arrived by half an hour after we ordered and the last one, a Tomate Soup (Sopa Azteca) 45 minutes after we ordered. From now on will try Chavela, few meters away from this one. Not recommended

I had the Pulled Pork Burger (two times!) and it was really good! It’s very fresh and tasty. But the best thing in there was the nice waitress Liz, who sweetened our stay there! :-) Gracias Liz por el buen tiempo!Thank you so much for the nice review! Liz is a gem of a waitress and more than that, she is a part of this place in every possible way.
