Normally just have a pizza which is a special occasion for me as my wife with her allergies cannot share this experience. A good range of "gourmet" pizzas that go beyond the basic normal, love the lamb and BBQ duck options. Enjoyed a carbonara pasta as well which was generous and filling.
Well located near the beach and surf club.
One of the best attributes is service for a takeaway, no matter what time i request, they always do it on time.

We thoroughly enjoyed coming to this restaurant for an evening meal. The first evening we came my husband ordered the gnocchi and I had a pizza. Both meals were very tasty and the staff friendly. On the strength of that we booked for another night and were not disappointed. We both had the stuffed mushrooms to start with, followed by the barramundi with rosemary potatoes and vegetables. Absolutely delicious. What a lovely meal we had and the staff and David the owner made us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend this superb restaurant and look forward to returning there.

Pleasant environment. Staff are friendly, but can be a little slow in peak periods. Food is really good, but I think their Kj count for menu items is a little high for some dishes. The table service doesn't quite work and would prefer it to be order at counter first. It's a lot easier. Nice shady area on a busy corner. Calamari is excellent.

First return visit to one of my favourite restaurants after change of ownership and I was very impressed.
Service and food had gone up a notch !
Calamari starter is a stunner.Can't think when I have had better
As for the pork belly...lovely decent sized serve of juicy meat and ever so crispy crackle.Spicy coleslaw accompanying pork was fabulous and cut through some of the richness .
My dining companion had the daily fish special of swordfish and said it was a winner.
Will be back when I am next up on the Sunshine Coast next month.

Extremely good quality, delicious, perfect consistency gelato. At $6 for a two scoop cup, and $5 for one scoop, I think they need to introduce a $3 children's small serve.... and put some more larger family tables out the front..... was a little miffed when my youngest didn't like the flavour of her scoop on the top of her two scoop cup, so I asked the attendant for a cup to place it in and she stated "that's 50 cents"....I had just spent $30 on gelato!

We stayed in Coolum over Christmas and always make sure we eat at Ma Boulange (and get take away goodies). It is authentic, delicious and great value. Important for those visiting to realise that this is a cafe, not a restaurant - it does not have table service - but the prices reflect this and staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks for multiple great experiences!!!

There is always a warm welcome when you walk into the Restaurant....especially nice to sit in the waitress table service area. As with most Surf Clubs now prices are fairly high but good is really good. I had an excellent mushroom fettucini. My partner was not particularly impressed with the Asian fish served in a leaking bamboo basket though. The dish itself was quite tasty. What is lacking on the menu is more for the vegetarian: the mushroom fettuccini the only item. Would happily recommend and return to the restaurant.
