Stopped here for lunch. We had the pizza buffet. We assumed the pizza was Chicago style. It wasn't. The pizza still was good, but could have used more toppings. The dessert pizza was especially good.

Friendly staff that will make you feel at home when you walk in the door. Great home cooking, food was just like mom used to make. Everything was great. Don't let the outside fool you, this place is a gem. Don't leave without some homemade dessert (cheesecake, pie, dumplings). Can't wait to be in the area again and stop by for a great meal.

We stopped at El Cantarito for a late lunch and we found the food and service to bring very good.
The both of us had the Chicken Chimichanga that came rice and refried beans. Everything was tasty, fresh and seasoned just right.
Our service was prompt and friendly nanda the restaurant appeared clean and well kept.
About the only thing on the negative side was I passed the restaurant right by. They really do need to work on their sign, it would bring more business in if passers-by knew they were there.

Stopped here from being in Evansville. Had a chance to try the soup and salad bar. Good variety of foods. Menu had several choices from chicken to sandwiches. The salad bar had a southern-style bbq/fried chicken day when I arrived and I took advantage of it.
Good food for a pitstop.
One thing is that there were customers playing on their phone with their volumes at full blast. Can be quite disconcerting when you're trying to enjoy a meal. Would be good to regulate that rather than the patrons do so; might not end up so well and people may be sensitive when someone asks to turn down their volume.

I was travelling down US 40 as an alternative to I-90, just cruising. And looking for interesting local premium ice cream shops.
The Kwik Freeze is part of a gas station but had food options including several premium ice cream flavors. And one was Spumoni. I'm on an international Spumoni testing regimen so that was super.
I asked for one scoop and the server basically gave me three hard packed ones. Amazing.
So much better than stopping at a franchise chain by the interstate.

Casey’s general store is the typical gas station convenience store combination. Both facilities are very clean. The convenience store offers all the common snacks and even freshly made pizza. The bathrooms are surprisingly clean for a gas station. The reason this store only gets 4 stars is because neither the men’s nor women’s room has a baby changing station. My wife needed to put our son on his jacket on the floor to change his diaper. Thankfully the floor was very clean.
If someone from Casey’s General store is reading this, please consider putting baby changing stations in the bathrooms. The next time we need to stop and our son needs to diaper change we will not be stopping here for either gas or snacks. Please consider my suggestion!

This was a nostalgic place for me. It reminds me of a place on a lake in Kentucky my parents always went when I was growing up. I had a fried tenderloin and Fries which was cooked to order. The food was good though the fries could have cooked longer which I will ask for them to do next time. They serve breakfast, mainly sandwiches and biscuits and gravy, and lunch. The place is very clean and well taken care of, the service was great and fast. If you are in the area stop and try them out or stop for a breakfast sandwich on the way to the lake to catch supper.

Last year me & my Son went to the Drive-Thru & ordered some breakfast sandwiches & hot coffee while on our way to go deer hunting. Our deer hunting went well but Arby's did not. We both got upset stomachs while hunting. The sausage, egg & cheese crossiants did not settle well with us. We will NOT be back there.........EVER!

My wife and I stop in for supper. I was glad to see that they had brought back the chicken salad. There were two people behind the counter. They did a great job. When I asked about the chicken salad she offered me a sample. It tasted just about like what they use to offer. The restaurant was clean and well keep. If your driving down 70 and want something to eat this is a good place to stop.
