Friendly little Mexican restaurant on Chipley's main drag. We visit here several times each visit to the Florida pan handle. Nice light chips and salsa to start off. The fajitas are fantastic and filling, with a full plate of refried beans, rice, guac, sour cream & pico. Nice selection of Mexican beers. Service is always great. Reasonable prices,

I decided to try out the new Dunkin Donuts restaurant in Chipley on my way to grocery shop. We all know its never a good idea to shop when you are hungry!
I ordered a "Classic breakfast sandwich". This was a fried egg and cheese on a croissant. I added sausage. The croissant was so fresh and crisp, I could have been happy with that alone. The sandwich was quite large and very good. I would definitely order that again.
I am looking forward to my next breakfast at this location. You wont be disappointed.

This restaurant is right off the Main Street in Chipley. Driving up to it, it looks like it might have been a store or retail business at one time . On Sundays it is popular with the church crowd. You can expect a 15-30 minute wait. The food is delicious and is in a buffet style. Delicious fried chicken , fish, roast, potatoes , salad bar and delicious home made desserts and ice cream. Pay one price and eat all you want. Lots of space for families or just a party two. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Five stars for customer service and food quality! This is a must visit when visiting or driving through Chipley. From being greeted at the door to the final expression of gratitude for our business, customer service could not have been more pleasant. Food quantities are large, presentation beautiful, and quality delicious.

Good "Southern Style" food for a reasonable price. If you want fancy, this is not the place for you. On the other hand, they have a good buffet and it's always fresh. The menu items are typical for a BBQ place, but the portions are a good size for the money.

After seeing a 4 1/2 star rating from Trip Advisor we decided our last meal of our vacation would be at the highly rated Angel's Buffet & Catering. My gut reaction when entering was to exit quickly, but my family had read about the restaurant's profits being used for local needy and wanted to give them a chance.
First, the place was empty at 6 p.m. on a Friday evening with all tables having food particles on them and had obviously not been cleaned since last used. The only clean table was one in the middle of the tiny room which had a white plastic table cloth on it and a few holiday decorations. When I moved toward it, the teen ager there said we couldn't sit there as it was for "decoration only"! I asked her to clean off another table while the rest of my family entered.
Second, the buffet looked dried out and left over from earlier in the day. We asked for a menu to order the highly advertised best "hamburger" in Chipley and were told the buffet was all there was. The salad bar containers were covered in pieces of foil, which was crinkled and appeared to be reused. Serving utensils were not available until we requested them. We had to request butter and other condiments.
Using a small Styrofoam plate we approach the buffet. I selected 1/2 fried chicken breast, fried okra and a small baked sweet potato. Others had the country vegetables and fried corn bread (my daughter-in-law said it was like her grandmothers) and said it was all very good. The chicken was very dry, but the owner offered to cook fresh pork chops while we waited. Other said they were good. My sweet potato was good. When I asked for sugar for my coffee the owner quizzed me as to why I wanted sugar. I've never been quizzed and had to give reasons before getting sugar!!!
Third, there was a small card sized table with Christmas paper plates, and clear plastic flatware close to the buffet which we had to walk by from the bar to our table. I picked up a fork and knife and sat down at the table which had been cleaned off. The other dirty tables were not touched! I then overheard the owner tell the others in my party that items on that table were not for customers and pointed out where the white smaller flatware was for customers.
Fourth, the floors were littered with food; the cashier/office area was filled with junk which looked like trash and had obviously been there for some time. Shelves were crammed with shopping bags and various personal items. It was hard to locate the cash register.
Fifth, a super large flat screen TV, way oversized for the small room played loudly the entire time. It was only a few feet from our table so we couldn't talk or hear anything other than Jeopardy and such! We were the only customers the entire time and would have preferred it to be off, but a young boy was watching it while on his tablet. At least it was not on a sports channel!!!
Sixth, the restroom was out of paper towels and the older fixtures were in need of replacing.
This restaurant has much potential: when fresh, the country food tastes good and the owner was friendly and personable. A good cleaning out of non-food related items, the junk and a top to bottom scrubbing would do wonders. The "sneeze guard" was covered in smudges and finger/head prints and needed cleaning on both sides.
As it is now, I would not recommend this restaurant. It doesn't appear to have had a recent health inspection. If a recent one pass it, I'd be surprised.

Ordered the garlic knots and loaded and exploded pizza. Both were good, just heavy and unhealthy. Staff was great and very friendly. Really wished we could just have one healthy option on the menu. And iceburg lettuce-filled salads with meat, cheese and ranch are not healthy! Please just some healthy, nutrient-dense greens with grilled chicken and lots of veggies! I bet people would try it and feel so great about eating better.

Very fast service when we were there and we were served generous portions of our BBQ pulled pork. Enjoyed the sides we ordered as well. Thought the prices were very reasonable. Would definitely return when visiting the area again. The girl accidentally overcharged us but she and the manager made it right. Very friendly people.

Love the fresh bread smell as soon as you walk in the door. Nice and clean dining area. Smiling staff and they make your food to order. They're great for takeout too!

I've eaten at this particular Waffle House many times over the last 15 years. The food is consistently good, prepared quickly and the servers are pleasant. Of course, it's a Waffle House, so you have the Waffle House atmosphere which is the ONLY reason it got a 4 out of 5. They're open 24/7 so you can eat anytime you want and they're conveniently located right off of I-10.
