Great food. Good selection. Very tastey. They even cater for the kids with fish and chips. We had takeaway but also.looks like a nice place to sit down and eat at. Would definitely recommend

Whenever I am in Charters Towers, I like too stay at The Cattleman's Rest Motor Inn, as the meals at the restaurant are amazing.
The Steak is as good as you would expect from a posh city restaurant, the menu is very diverse with a mix of Asian, Indian choices. There a re a number of Seafood dishes, pastas & full range of meats cooked on the Grill.

The restaurant was clean, although the air conditioner kept dripping water onto the carpet... this was a distraction during the meal. The meal was a good size but dissapointing... a burnt garlic flavour was overpowering and tainted the flavours. Service whilst friendly was slow to come to the table. Overall I've had better.

We were travelling from Cairns to Darwin and stopped here overnight. What a find. I had the surf and turf and the steak was bigger than my head! It was delicious and is good pub food. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. It was so nice to stop in such a great place (it was karaoke night too) and have a couple of drinks with some good food after a long drive. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.

We enjoyed the casual pub atmosphere at Irish Molly's Bar and Grill. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We were in a group of 11 people and the meals arrived in a timely way. The location in the centre of Charters Towers was very convenient for everyone.

Went to RR a couple of months ago to buy a whole chicken for dinner (drive thru). It wasn't the best, dried and obviously been under the heat lamp for a while. It was late and I didn't take it further.
Tonight, I thought I would try one last time. Only place to get a decent hot chook on a Sunday evening - well maybe not! Second time and the old chook was just as bad as the other one. Dried, hard flesh on the legs and overall just over heated, stringy dry flesh - just terrible. I will be calling them tomorrow to advise of my second poor experience. It was drive thru.
I will pass on RR in the future, unless the can guarantee a freshly cooked, moist chicken!

Visiting the local site seeing attractions in Charters Towers and found Henry's for lunch a well set out cafe / restaurant and small bar. Very nice menu, food, coffee and friendly young gentlemen serving us my only negative was the time it took to actually get our meal which was only a basic order. Still worth calling in if visiting this lovely town of Charters Towers.

Stopped in charters towers on a motorbike tour through QLD. Commercial hotel for dinner and a few quiet drinks. Great out door area to eat and suitable for families. Food was sensational with a young Bangladesh chef. Staff also very friendly. Definitely recommend!Thanks Stansey, Glad you enjoyed the evening, hope to see you and the boys on your next visit to the Towers.

We called in here to grab a takeaway coffee and happy to say that the coffee was very good. There was a slight muck up with the order however they rectified that by offering to refund the cost of the coffee. We refused this however they did offer us some lovely peppermint chocolates.
