If you don't know where are you going you will never find it just walking down the street. It is far enough from old town and located in living area. The restaurant is in a small group of houses in an industrial area in Florence suburbs; furniture and interiors are recalling 80s, with a strange effect of "old modern"; as soon as we entered, some fish smell making you wonder if this is the right place...
After the first -non positive- impact, the situation has been quickly improving with excellent fish appetizers, both the ones we selected (ventaglio di carpacci and carpaccio of swordfish with orange sauce) and the ones being served to other guests.
Very good also the first dishes, the dessert, and the fresh Friuli Traminer we selected.
Overall, an excellent dinner; some adjustments to the look would help to furtherly improve the rating

Was stopping at hotel opposite so this was worth a try.
Large old fashioned restaurant , felt very welcome by friendly host and a real log fire in the corner added to the atmosphere.
Food was very good, tried the selection of local cured meats to start and followed by a really good plate of pasta (see pics).
I even had a dessert , when. I finished , the owner brought over a complimentary dessert as well!
Nice place and nice atmosphere.

Large and nice hall, big portions and very tasty food. I went 2 times and tried several different dishes and all was excellent. Good selection of Italian wines in affordable prices. The only negative was that some smell of the cuisine intruded into the main hall. Many locals ate there

You would never expect a place like this in the inductrial section of Calenzano. Amazing Grill ad Seafood dishes. Must try seafood risotto and Steak Florentine Right next door to the Valmarina Hotel - once you've tried you won't want to venture down to Florence for dinner!

Absolutely perfect restauran, tipical italian cuisin, prices ok, excellent value for money. We had spectacular New Years Eve dinner, full menu, one meal better than another. In short this treat for all sences you should not miss if you are there at that time. Service is excellent, owner always there to fulfill all your expectations. We will return for sure.

Traveling in Calenzano on business, my colleague and I went into Notte Di on a whim---partly because it was next door to our hotel but also because we wondered what exactly a "disco pub" was! What a surprise! Decor is much more mod than one would guess from the sign & patio. It was jam packed with families and students---and for good reason! Prices are incredibly affordable and food is excellent. There I had probably the best pizza of my Italy trip. Profiteroles were fabulous. House wine very good and, again, very reasonably priced. It seems there is sometimes karaoke and live music, but not when we visited. Music videos did play loudly on prominent TVs, though. Compared with all my other Calenzano dining experiences, this was a much more fun, lively place.

Staying for one night as transit in Barberino; we were searching for a good restaurant and arrived in Combiate, just a few kilometers from Barberino. On the village square were two restaurants. At Antica Sosta we were invited to sit and they present us a free prosecco and antipasti. We enyoyed our meal, also thanks to the friendly service.
