Miles of powder-white beaches hug the coast at Belle Mare, where championship golf courses, posh resorts, a family-friendly water park and abundant aquatic sports ensure activity-filled days. Deep-sea fishing for tuna, marlin and mako shark is especially popular in this eastern Mauritius enclave. Belle Mare also serves as a convenient base camp for a trek to 1,575-foot Lion Mountain, where sweeping views reward those who make the challenging hike to its peak.

Sunny à la carte restaurant situated within the villa compound and set on a wooden deck with outstanding views of the ocean exudes a real tropical charm. Start with an exquisite glass of bubbly from our Champagne trolley and delight in a variety of creative preparations from the Mediterranean Sea while listening to the lapping of the Indian Ocean. Opening hours:19.00 - 23.30 (last order 21.30) Dress code: Gentlemen are required to wear trousers, long or short sleeved collared shirts (such as polo shirts and button down shirts) and appropriate footwear. Tailored shorts and Bermuda shorts are not permitted. Ladies are also asked to respect evening attire in line with the elegant atmosphere of the venue.
Quite good selection on the menu. Had a pasta as a starter. Very big portion for a starter. Went on with chicken. also great quality. Of course it's not exactly cheap, but spoil yourself at least one evening when you're in the hotel.

This restaurant is included in the hotel The Residence Mauritius. It is an "à la carte" restaurant during the lunch time but an international and varied buffet dinner.
The card includes a variaty of salads, pasta, pizza and sandwiches. Special mention for the Deserts included.
The buffet dinner changes every night from asiatic, indian, mauritian and creolle typical food cooked in front of the custumors (some dishes but specially the main course) and a delicious variety of Deserts (We couldn't resist the temptation!!!!)
The cooks, waiters and waitresses are fantasticalways willing to help you with anything that you need. And always paying attention to small details such as filling your glass or bringing some extra butter for your bread. In my opinon, the service is one of the strongest points about the restaurant.
Definitely an experience i will recommend.

Located in the clubhouse of the Legend golf course, the restaurant enjoys a superb view of the 18th hole greens while the Java deer can be seen roaming around. Offering traditional cuisine of the Indian Ocean, in an authentic dining ambience, Deer Hunter restaurant is open for continental breakfast with a Mauritian touch for early golfers, lunch and light snacks in the afternoon. A la carte/set menu for dinner including signature venison and BBQ dishes also available. Opening hours: 07.00 - 10.00, 12.00 - 17.30 and 19.00 - 23.30 (last order 21.30) Dress Code: During the Day: Shorts, T-Shirts or polo shirts with footwear are acceptable, yet we ask that swimwear be covered at all times. Evening: Gentlemen are required to wear trousers, long or short sleeved collared shirts (such as polo shirts and button down shirts) and appropriate footwear. Tailored shorts and Bermuda shorts are not permitted. Ladies are also asked to respect evening attire in line with the elegant atmosphere of the venue.
Went there for one evening. Had an Indian set menu with 5 or 6 different courses. Big variation ion the quality. The lamb soup was great, the butter chicken a big disappointment (... the butter chicken in the main restaurant in the hotel is superb.... this one SO not! ). The other courses in between.
But very nice setting overlooking the golf course, and attentive and professional waiters. Good bread also.

Stroll down a lantern-lit pontoon that heads mysteriously through mangrove trees until you find yourself in the romantic seclusion of Le Barachois. Enjoy a candlelit feast of fresh seafood as you float above the calm water of the lagoon on one of the restaurant's 5 floating decks. Opening hours: Dinner: 7.00pm - 10.30pm
We decided on this restaurant during out stay here and the recommendation of one of our friends. Easily the best dinner we had on the island. The entire experience was an event. Right from walking into the restaurant, as well as the frankly delectable cuisine on offer. The wine selection was excellent and the atmosphere was great. No visit here is complete, I feel, without a dinner at Le Barachois.

Went to this place as we got sick of resort food and wanted to explore the area. It's tucked in a bit so hard to find unless you wander around. Service is excellent, our waitress was friendly and spoke English well. The interior is cute, it's covered in completely random and unrelated artworks but it somehow works. Food is very good and the prices are quite cheap. Definitely a must if you're in the area

Savour fine dining and discover Constance's philosophy of food with a light Mauritian twist at Archipel restaurant. Beautifully crafted food is served in an elegant setting with view out across the beach or the infinity pool. Amateurs de vin can request to have their fine food pair with an exclusive wine from our wine cellar. Opening hours: Breakfast: 7.30am - 10.30am / Lunch: 12.30pm - 3.30pm / Dinner: 7.00pm - 10.30pm
The Archipel Restaurant is the principal restaurant of the Prince Maurice and located next to a stunning pool area and to the beach. The cuisine is the best in the hotel with daily changing dinner menues. We enjoy very much the perfect service and the contact to the chefs explaining their recipes with the ingredients and the way of cooking. There is a lot of expertise and the cooks have been trained in many countries in the world. The restaurant has the largest wine cellar on Mauritius with 16.000 bottles, including the well known super Tuscans from Antinori and some more rare precious wines.

SEASONS RESTAURANT & BAR is a stylish restaurant providing comfortable dining in smart and relaxing surroundings. This gastronomical adventure offers authentic Mauritian and Oriental cuisine, with a mix of European dishes
We looked for an alternative because the restaurants in Maritim Crystal Beach were boring.
5 minutes walk away there is this nice so called Creole Restaurant named Seasons.
They owner is very attentive. His advices are made by heart as his whole business.
The service and food was so good that we went there several times. And next time on Mauritius we will come back for sure.
A good varity off meals. And don't miss the chocolate cake dessert with warm chocolate and coconut ice cream.A must.
Thank you for this good food and service.

Known for its authentic Japanese cuisine, Hasu is located at the Long Beach Golf & Spa, on the east coast of Mauritius. In the contemporary décor of this gastronomic restaurant , a Japanese and an Italian Chef unite their talents and fusion flavours to present you with contemporary haute cuisine that is authentic, audacious and deliciously surprising. This Japanese restaurant has a lounge, a grill, a central Yakitori counter as well as private and semi-private areas for à la carte dining.
We weren't sure whether to try the restaurant as we didn't know whether we would like anything (we aren't big sushi lovers) and you had to pay towards it. We are so glad we gave it a go, everything we ate tasted incredible, the presentation of the food was sublime, and the choice was fantastic.
The beef yakitori was delicious, as were the chicken wings, pork dumplings and chicken teriyaki. My husband had the Lemon curd verine dessert and described it as the best dessert he's had in his whole life! I had the chocolate sphere and it was amazing both in smell and taste. With the All Inclusive 900 Rupee allowance per person the overall fee at the end was pretty reasonable for such good food. We went twice during our trip and made sure this was the last meal we had before we left as we liked it so much!
The staff in this place are incredible, so friendly and nice, and the service it A+. Couldn't fault this place.

We are staying at The Residence and found this restaurant offered better lunch options at a better price than our own hotel. Portions are large and there is a large selection of vegetarian food however more than one vegan option would be great! Very nice view and furniture. Service is good, our food came quickly and the staff were friendly enough. Only thing was that although the food is better than our own hotel some dishes are amazing whilst others are bland. Drinks are expensive but tasty.
Overall a good option if you’re nearby, we wish we had stayed in lux belle mare to make use of this place more!
