This was recommended by the local hotel I stayed in as a good simple restaurant. I started with their 'salade norvege' and the dressing was so delicious I left the excellent salmon until last. My main course was 'fillet de boeuf' which was beautifully cooked 'sagnant' and also 'to die for'. The accompanying wine madame recommended was Chateauneuf de Pierrevert, Domaine La Blaque and was so good I bought a bottle to take away! Overall excellent quality and value for money.

So plat du jour 12 euros seems fine. Basically steak and chips. Steak over cooked for medium, chips fine, green salad with dressing okay. No condiments offered. Nice location but fairly average on the whole.
Plenty to choose from in the town so don't rush to the first place you see.

We found this place friendly and enjoyable. The food was tasty and plentyful enough to keep hungry cyclists happy. As is often the case in France, 'hot' equates to 'mild' in the UK. It seems to get quite busy, but does take bookings. Service was quick and friendly.

We went to this restaurant after a great golf round at le Bois Chenu , 8th hole was fun.
The restaurant owners at Le Planeur have a superb sense for making food look and taste great. Can only say to all if you pass it stop and enjoy......... The service is excellent and prices very reasonable.

Nice cozy setting. Food is good, a lot of the menu suggestions are interesting and appealing but you must choose :) We ordered one Menu and an extra main course. The Menu choices: Crème Brule with Gazpacho for starter was unusual and very refreshing. Fish for main course was well made and was served with good sauce and good vegetables (the rice could be better). Dessert of some lemon crème was yummy. The extra main course we had was Gnocchi, it sounded very good on the menu but it did not reach our expectations. It was fresh and tasty no doubt, but was not special or interesting or exceptional.
The restaurant was packed and the waiters were very busy. The service could be better.
The second night we tried a different restaurant and wished we hadn't. We decided to have our dessert here but it was closed when we arrived (it was Wednesday).

Ate here on our previous visit. Behind the Tourist centre, so don't miss it. A charming restaurant with a humungous great pizza oven. Very happy, friendly staff, I had lasagne and chocolate mousse, he had pizza and sorbet. It was all fabulous. A really lovely find

However our expectations were very low when we walked in. Everything from that point went up Service, food and atmosphere were all good. Although I hate the smell of cooking on my clothes, otherwise it would be a 5.

Three courses for 19 euros excluding drinks - enough choice and very good value. In door or pavement Seating (under cover in May but probably open in summer). Welcoming and excellent service but like many restuarants in the town, doesn't serve before 19:30.

The only good thing about this place is the location and the cepes fondue.
We went there in our last night at PraLoup, but we didn't make a reservation because this is a cafeteria, so when we arrived we were mistreated because we didn't reserve a table but the place has half empty! so after a couple of minutes we got a table outside (it was chilling and we have two babies... not the best option!). The waiter got mad because we changed our mind on the order and he had to restart taking it... terrible attitude.
We requested more bread to entertain the kids while the food arrives and guess what, the answer was something like "bread is for the fondue, not for your kids", really?
Again, ask your hotel to book a place before trying to have dinner in this area, actually in all France! if not, there is always the possibility to buy a Sandwich at the supermarket.
