I've been here a couple of times. The food is (for vegetarians) a little better than the other places in Bad Saarow. The inside is somewhat elegant and there is a good view. Lots of famous people have been here, I imagine for the connected theater (which I haven't been to). The servers are good by German standards.

This restaurant is in city center and is best in area. We got amazing and a quick service, very tasty food and big portions. all of us found what like. and prices is not expensive.

Arriving on a rainy day to restaurant Landhaus Alte Eichen. We are immediately assigned a table in the restaurant, which most resembles a cozy living room with large wooden furniture in a cozy style. From our table in the restaurant, we have a lovely view of the lake. A very sweet and English-speaking servant comes and gives us the menu. There are not many dishes to choose from and the menu is in German. When we get served our food is really delicious and well prepared, and there is plenty of it. Although we are already well fed after the main course we decided to have coffee and desert and once again we get served a lovely court. The price was very reasonable. Twice a main dish, two desserts and coffee around. 63 Euro. This restaurant I would visit again during my vacation

Ordered a dish with three fish filets and summer vegetables, which came dredged in salt and laced with fat. As is regrettably common in this part of the world, the cook made no use of the many spices and sauces that can accompany and enhance fish (like coriander/cilantro, pesto, lemongrass, lemon/garlic) and ways to prepare it without frying it in a lot of fat. So the predominant flavour was salt with a heavy fat overlay. Still much better than our previous evening's meal at the Pechhütte, though.

It doesn't look nice outside. Inside it is even worse. You probably would like to leave immediately. BUT there is no need to eat inside, just get your order as take-away and eat at home or in the park or another nice place. There is Delivery service provided as well.
The best is the food itself! Everything is just delicious, all the American pizzas or the nicely made burgers. If you are looking for delicious (fast) food, this is the place to order it!

Ordered some sort of Schnitzel from the blackboard menu in this curiously appropriately named restaurant of the Esplanade Hotel. It turned out to be a practically inedible mess and was served with bland french fries which were almost certainly frozen. I have no idea how this restaurant could be rated #2 in Bad Saarow by TripAdvisor. I'd hate to see the ones further down the list. Nie wieder!

We spent time here again in Bad Saarow after a 18 month break. Just to say that that the meals are a good as ever. We had typical German fayre and were impressed with food, service and price. You can sitt ouside or in and there is an English menu to make ordering easier. Would come back again.

Das Restaurant ist, wie der Name schon sagt, in einer alten Villa untergebracht. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, liebevoll mit Stilmöbeln eingerichtet, mit einer schönen Terrasse vor einem sehr großen Garten.
Die Speisen waren sehr gut. Mit viel liebe zu den zahlreichen kulinarischen Details. Kleine aber feine Karte. Ebenso eine kleine Weinkarte, für mich aber absolut ok.
Die Preise waren aus meiner Sicht etwas überzogen, das hat aber das Vergnügen nicht geschmälert.
Wenn man in der Gegend ist, unbedingt hinfahren und vorher reservieren.

I must say I have hesitated a little before writing this review, as I first didn't want to share this "secret" treasure. I absolutely love this place. My wife and me chose the first sunny day of spring and spent a few hours over gorgious food, drinks, coffee and perfect service on the patio of the villa. Not only the first white asparagus of the season, but also the fish was first class, as was the lovely waiting crew. Make sure you get there when it's sunny and warm, unless you generally hate a stunning view and fresh air! ;)

The atmosphere at this place is unrivaled - it sits on the lake, and has tiered Seating, so there isn't a bad view anywhere! I had a steak which was good (not great, but very good). Honestly, though, I would return just because of the atmosphere. It was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy some wine, good conversation, and good food. I definitely recommend a visit!
