Finally made it past the reservation monster and had a wonderful dinner. The pork chop was excellent. The fresh seafood was great. The grilled oysters almost had us ordering more. The only issue I can see to be more inclusive there needs to be some more menu items sans pork. The place was definitely lively and full of happy people.

I loved this place. Great BBQ plate, very good sauces and absolutely excellent desserts. Oh, and don't forget the hash. Very tasty.

This is a very unassuming place with very friendly service, laid back customers and very, very good food.

Prices were extremely reasonable and we all liked everything we tried on the menu.

I would most certainly come back here again.

Honey from the Rock

This place is an upscale cafeteria combined by all the charm and hospitality of your own home. In other words, it could be your 'second kitchen.' If you want fine dining or table service this isn't your place. Rather, it is down-home Southern, Augusta cooking in a cafeteria-style setting that is open during lunch hours. The food, rather than the atmosphere, is the star of this place. All fare is clearly prepared with a lot of love and homemade. Sweets are definitely sweet and you don't want to pass on the array of desserts. The staff is local church folk who treat you like one of their family. If you don't like a heaping dose of 'bless your heart' or 'you're a dear' then you won't like this place. If its good, down-home, finger lickin' Southern cooking you crave then this is your culinary Mecca. The menu varies, chicken, ham, potatoes, and everything fried are all excellent. Being from Atlanta, I found more than a few 'locals' who were more than willing to share a story or experience about the Masters golf tournament and the past players and winners they have met. For a 'scratch golfer' this 'made from scratch' place more than satisfied!

Enjoy a taste of Tuscany in the beautiful Hammond's Ferry - North Augusta, SC

Reviewed By 7274Pillars - Thomasville, GA

For the self-proclaimed ‘Best Italian Restaurant’ in the area, it didn’t live up.

The atmosphere and location are excellent, so they are positioned well. Service was okay, but they clearly catered excessively to the larger tables.

Ordered wine, and it took far too long for it to return—by the glass. Possibly a glitch with their restaurant protocol.

Being well-traveled, their prices are noticeably high by any standard, even Sea Island, Charleston, and Hawaii are less expensive. They may feel they can pull it off since they are in an upscale North Augusta development but maybe not based on the empty tables mid-Masters week.

If you are going to charge that, you better deliver. And they didn’t. The charcuterie tray had some prosciutto mixed in with some mediocre meat, a few slices of pepperoni, some cheese wedges, and jams. The jams were the hilight, as there is a more choice meat selection at Publix or Bi-Lo.

The entree, the duck, was well-executed. Possibly a bit too done but not worth quibbling over.

The dessert, a chocolate torte, was the worst dessert I think I have ever had. That itself is an achievement, just not the one you want. Imagine runny brown contents of a baby’s diaper. Part of the torte was hot brown liquid, with an irregular runny consistency over half of it. The other half had a fluffy goo consistency. It screamed that it was tossed in the microwave rather than properly prepared. It had no sweetness whatsoever, bitter in fact. Wonder if they forgot the sugar? A torte should have a firm density to it, and the sweetness should border on ‘too rich’. It was left 2/3 unfinished. The waitress did nothing to address it, after I made her aware of its quality, only to insist that everything there is made fresh. The coffee probably was Folgers or some Kroger replacement. If you are going to charge over the top on every aspect of the menu, bring the quality. This was not it.

They were delicious I had roast pork shoulder with cabbage & onion rings. Everything was fantastic can’t wait til this weekend to try pecan crusted rib eye. Reservations are a must!

I've visited Giuseppe's on a couple of occasions. Both times I've ordered the shrimp scampi and linguine. It came with a salad that was absolutely delicious! I think they make their own dressing. The shrimp scampi and linguine was sooo good! Shrimp cooked and tossed with linguine in a light sauce (not Alfredo). Very delicious and filling!

We went once during lunch and checked out the buffet but decided we wanted the pasta dish instead.

The wait staff is very friendly and we didn't wait long for our meal. The folks at the counter are just as nice and makes you feel like they really appreciate your business.

I recommend Giuseppe's highly!

I went to Bonefish with a few friends who were in town for dinner and cocktails. Our servers name was Justin and he was very quick to bring drinks and apps. Food was delicious and service was excellent! I recommend getting the saucy topping on their salmon! Out of this world! They also offer weekday specials and bottomless drinks on sundays. Glad to have one in our area.
