Had a super evening here. Staff were very helpful in choosing wine to go with the tasting menu. It was an excellent evening which we thoroughly enjoyed. Not entirely sure why it has two Michelin stars - to us it didn't seem anymore grand or amazing than the one star Michelin restaurants we've dined at. That's not a complaint, just a comment - we did have a super time.

It all started with a phone call for a last minute booking and 5 stars for customer service. The young man on the phone could not have been more helpful getting me a table last minute. We arrived to a warm welcome and again all staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was good with a reasonable choice and were told that if the vegetarian option wasn't what we wanted to let them know and we would be offered other things. A very pleasant experience with the best customer service I have experienced for a long time Thank you Duchally!

We had a lovely meal. For starters the pigeon breast and hebridean crab. For main we had halibut and lobster. For desert tarte tatin to share between two.
All the food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful.
Star performance to François the Sommelier who is here from France and who recommended the Jurancon and Tokai for sweet wines to accompany the tarte tatin.
While the bottle of house merlot is a good wine it was far too expensive.

Once again Fernanda made the venue very romantic . The service was impeccable and the valentine menu cooked by Jon was as usual exceptional . We totally enjoyed the Valentine rush . Must mention the special gin cocktail it went down a treat .

We were looking forward to trying the Dormy but were really disappointed with the food and the service. My partner ordered the fish pie which was almost cold,and,after seasoning the dish twice, he decided to complain. My salmon was nice but not hot enough. Our complaint was dealt with well,and the main course and sweets and coffee were taken off the bill. We expected more from such an establishment,service could also have been better. I am not sure if we will return,we have had food in Auchterarder 70 and enjoyed it much more. The whole experience rather spoiled our evening unfortunately.

We have visited previously for coffee and cakes, today's visit was for lunch, I picked fish and chips, how can you go wrong with that? Well the fish had obviously just come straight out the freezer, very thin pre-dressed fillet, skin still on under the dressing. The taste was not good. Waitress explained that's what the supplier provides, well in my opinion time to source a new supplier. Yes fine for cakes and coffee but it will make us think twice before returning for an actual meal. To be fair the waitress did discount the fish from our bill.

Friendly staff coffee was nice but scones were very hard. Tables were vacated but not cleared during our visit. Attention to detail with regarding cleanliness of the premises perhaps needs addressed. After Reading all the excellent reviews, we tried to go here. However, the windows are whitewashed and the name has been erased from above the window. No details available as to whether this is a permanent shutdown or a refurb - but it looks like a permanent thing.
