Anfangs widerwillig ließ ich mich überreden in einer Kinogastronomie (meist auf Massen ausgelegt und Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr unausgewogen) zu essen.
Doch traute ich meinen Augen kaum.
Ziemlich hinten versteckt liegt das Lokal "Buffalo".
Wie der Name vermuten lässt, ein amerikanisches Restaurant.
Die Einrichtung "der Hammer ".
Da können sich manche Lokalitäten in Großstädten noch was anschauen.
Glücklicherweise erhielten wir den letzten freien Tisch. Alles andere war reserviert.
Von alten Harley Davidson Maschinen sind Teile an der Wand verschraubt. Ein ca. 3 Meter langes Flugzeug hängt von der Decke, Bunte Lichter, Benzinsäule, hölzerne Tisch-nischen, zusammenfassend ein sehr stimmig eingerichtetes Lokal.
Die Speisekarte gedruckt (Wechsel somit nur 1x jährlich?!), habe ich mir einen Basic-Burger bestellt. Anstatt der Curly-Fries (Spiralförmige Pommes, eher fettig) habe ich Wedges bestellt.
Das Burger-Brot war knusprig, ein riesiges (wirkt zumindest selbstgemacht) gut würziges Faschiertes Laibchen in der Mitte, Salatblatt & Tomaten mit dabei.
Der Kartoffelsalat schmeckt gekauft, die mitgelieferte Knoblauchsauce auch.
Schade, an sich schmeckte es sehr gut. Die Portion (siehe Gabel als Größenvergleich am Foto) sehr üppig.
Ich bin überrascht, eine derart stimmige Location mit durchwegs guter Küche in einem Kino gefunden zu haben. Sehr flotte & aufmerksames Personal.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

On my first evening in this wonderful part of Austria, a friend who lives right in Ohlsdorf took me here. What a fantastic place. It is in a perfect setting, nestled in a small valley. The evening was that perfect blend of cool with no wind that ushers in the beginning of summer.
The food matched the setting in every way. Each dish was filled with local produce and looked as good as it tasted. Not many non-Austrians come to this area but they should.... Especially when there are places like this one.

I have been here about 5 times. The a la carte food seemed to be better last year. I like the food but it´s not authentic Asian food. Besides, I don´t think it´s possible to find any authentic Asian food anywhere 30-50 km away from here. They have sushi, mongolian buffet ( don´t have to wait in queue for the food to be cooked), chocolate (fair-trade) fondue with ice-cream and a large variety of warm dishes. About 15 Eur / adult for dinner buffet. It´s a great place to go to with a group of friends in this region but overrated.

It looks a little like a tiny truck stop from the outside. It is attached to a BP gas station. Inside it is large and nicely decorated. It has a long full bar and several dining rooms. It is defiantly a hangout for locals. I was staying nearby or I would have never discovered this place. The food is Austrian with large servings and low prices. The service was excellent. The menu is in German therefore I had Wiener schnitzel. Everything was excellent. I would recommend this place if you are in the area.

Good and friendly service. Ice cream light snacks and beer, wine and varied coffees. Plus a smoking section.

If you are waiting for the next train at Attnang-Puchheim and there are few hours remaining at night, here is definately the best choice. p.s. It is now 9 30pm and there is no restaurant open nearby.

Visited the restaurant once a year for 4 years now and have always been served big portion of delicious food. Well worth the walk from centre of the town or the short drive from the main roads.

Eaten here and taken out pizzas from this restaurant - Fantastic pizza made with the freshest ingredients. I understand some key ingredients are brought in regularly from Italy. The brick oven provides that crisp smoky flavor to whatever selection of pizza you choose. I like the ham and mushroom. Can get extremely busy so Reservations are a must or carry out.
