At Hofer´s Wirtshäusl, directly located at the camping side, Tyrolean specialties, international treats and homemade pizza can be found on the menu. The kitchen team emphasizes the use of the finest and freshest ingredients, seasonal fruits and vegetables, meat and dairy products from Tyrolean farmers as well as herbs from our own garden. Next to the spacious sunny Terrace with around 50 seats our dining area with about 70 seats is highly suitable for enjoying meals with family and friends as well as having Christmas parties or business and family celebrations.

This is the fourth time I have visited this brilliant location and I am always greeted with a very warm welcome from everyone there . The accommodation is excellent with comftable beds and clean rooms in the guest house with great views of the gorgeous mountain range outside ! The restaurant offers first class food and a great bar area for a well deserved drink after a days activities in this beautiful part of the world ! I can highly recommend Campingdorf Hofer to anyone who just wants to relax and be surrounded by great people and stunning views .

We searched for Rosi's hutte we visited about 10 years ago, but found a nice new restaurant. Business model: Schntizels! The photo is an XXL schnitzel, but you can have a children's size as well. Don't expect 'haute cuisine', it's a mountain restaurant frequented by skiers (run 18).
Outside you have a wonderful mountain view, inside the Austrian 'gemütlichkeit'.

my wife and I spend the evening for our anniversary at Sieghards and enjoyed the "Geniesser Dinner" . Excellent and attentive Service, well balanced menue of appetizer, main course and dessert and accompanying wines, a perfect balance of Food and Wine, congratulations to the chef and Sommelier !!
The experience was well worth every euro !!

A must visit when skiing in Hochzillertal. The restaurant is busy be they handle it well with no real wait times.The food is good and better than most mountain restaurants. I've just posted a (justified) critical review of the Kristallhutte. From there we went to the Wedelhutte for lunch and what a contrast. Friendly staff welcomed us and helped us to find a great table. The rest just followed, good service, nice food and a great ambience - well done, we will return!!

Since Gerlos is a difficult place to diner by lack of restaurants, most of them are only open for hotel guests, based on the Tripadvisor reviews we took a taxi to Stumm. The quality of the food is -no doubt- good. The menu offers a limited however sufficient choice of mainly authentic Austrian food. As the chef explained us, the more adventurous cocking of contemporary dishes temporary could not be realized due to the economic situation. The pleasure of cooking is nevertheless reflected on the fine plates. Service was pleasant and the staff attentive. Its a real pity that Zum Nester is a 25 minutes (and a € 60 costing) drive from the ski village Gerlos. Otherwise it certainly would have been the place to eat the whole week. Our next visit to Gerlos certainly will include a diner in Zum Nester.

We visited this place several times in the past during our ski trip to the Zillertal Arena region.
Sophisticated kitchen with local produce; best local Austrian wines, contemporary presentation, chic decoration, delicious and creative food.
If you are in Stumm area, this is a must visit Restaurant (we did not stay in the hotel).

We are just after an amazing dinner at this place. We tried soups, warm & cold starters and mains as well. Each dish was excellent and huge so we couldn't finish all of them. The bill was €30/person with a drink.
Only thing on the con side is that they seemed to be a tad understaffed, we had to wait for our orders a bit longer.

Tried 4 dishes ( pizza , steak , spag bol and beef strips with spag over 2 days . All were excellent at very reasonable prices . Would make a point of returning .Hi Mike! As we were staying at an aparthotel, we spent the Christmas Eve in the restaurant of this very nice hotel. Everything was very good: the food, the service, the atmosphere. They even had prepared small gifts for the children. Our 5-year old boy was very happy with the small toy he received.
