Short walk from our home. Decided to book and glad I did, people were being turned away. Had a salmon crab cake starter, then genuine slow cooked ribs. Wine list is okay, mixed drinks a bit limited but still okay. Ribs were unbelievably good - in fact I should have dropped the starter and stuck with the main course. The serves are very generous and I couldn't finish in the end. Great service, nice and warm and family like place. On the list of places to return to. We loved it.

Evening meal good choices on the menu food was good quality well cooked friendly staff only complaint specifically asked for crispy chips with meal got plate of limp wristed bits of potatoes, got medium cooked meat instead of rare would visit again but would be more selective with the menu

We had a really nice dinner at one of the tables with a view down the valley.The food was fantastic and the service very good. Prices were fairly high, but this is verging on fine dining. We brought our own wine to keep the bill reasonable - $6.50 corkage fee per bottle was OK.

Friendly staff and a good selection of breakfast that is served late at weekends. I had scrambled eggs with a side of mushrooms, which was excellent. My wife had poached eggs - cooked to perfection.
The staff are attentive and friendly.
The only problem is the proximity to the local railway station which means it is a challenge getting anywhere to park.

Banquet: everything tastes the same.
We go every year for my Dad's birthday because he likes it. There's about thirty of us and they seem to try and rush us out the door these days. All the banquet food tastes the same and none of us want to go back. The experience is different if there's only a couple of ppl and just order a dish each then you have nothing to compare it to

Very welcoming pub with good dinner menu with variations in the menu at reasonable prices. Was fairly full on a week night with patrons. Old style. Children accepted.

We had a family celebration dinner there recently, I was pleasantly surprised with the flexibility of the chef and staff as I had dietary requirements. Even though they only had a few ingredients to work with they still presented me with a delicious meal. It was great that they didn't say that everything is premarinated..... As this is what happens regularly.

Me and a friend came for an early dinner. We started with the crispy pork which was cooked perfectly. We had a pot of traditional Thai tea and iced coffee. For mains we had song tam (green papaya salad), and chilli and basil wild snapper. Service was very friendly. Go and check it out great place!

Very nice cuisine and excellent service. A small restaurant ,not flashy but great value and always a bonus,BYO, Plenty of parking around the rear of premises and nearby off road.Many restaurants are struggling but this one is obviously increasing its client base as much busier than my last visit.
