I stopped in with my family this weekend and loved every minute. The warm welcome, the beautiful decor, the outstanding service. It was a wonderful and unexpected experience. I found lots of delicious options as a vegetarian and my seafood loving husband and son loved their dishes. The Masaman curry was yummy and a large portion. Can't wait to try another type of curry next time. The pan seared snapper was a hit. The sauce that came with the Loupe de Mer was a standout favorite. Then they came with the coconut cake. Maybe the best cake I have ever had. Light, flavorful, fresh tasting. Sigh. We came early in the evening and it quickly filled up.

Pampas Steakhouse

Reviewed By promopro2

This amazing place is not on any gf review site (that I've found anyway), but luckily a gf friend went for a family celebration and found out they had a nice selection of gf menu options. The au gratin potatoes are out of this world and worth the drive from anywhere in the ATL. Of course, for most guests, the steaks are the star of the show, but when you typically can't have something simple like au gratin potatoes, you appreciate it more than most. GF menu items are noted and while there are many choices, some items can also be modified so be sure to ask if there is anything special you're interested in.

The service, food quality (and presentation) and ambiance is perfect for a date night or outing with good friends. Most people must agree it's best to leave the kids at home as we didn't see even one, but I'm not aware of a rule banning kids there. If you're tired of driving into BH for a special meal, check out Pampas...steak lovers and gluten-free diners will not be disappointed! Oh!....the Bananas Foster here is the best in the ATL!

Had dinner with family at Milton's and the food, the service, the live music and the venue was all awesome from beginning to end! I had the fried chicken and the wifey had shrimp and grits. We sat in the bar to enjoy the free entertainment they provide. Valet parking made it an easy walk in and out in the chilly Dec night. I will def go back here again.

This place has amazing sweet tea! The food comes out super fast after you order. Its obviously prepared in advance, but you can’t tell! It seems hot and fresh! Be careful when you add on side items, this is where it gets expensive. My side of coleslaw was $4!

This place is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. They have awesome combos, etouffee, alligator, oysters, great fish selections - all in a Cajun style. Plenty of food and great cocktails. One of our favorites - the Shrimp & Crawfish Fondeaux with garlic bread. You will be very pleased with this place.

Met our family here for dinner one evening. Weather was very nice so we were able to sit out on their nice patio. We ordered the Bruschetta which was delicious....prepared just like to like it! I had the Goat Cheese Mushroom flatbread and everyone else chose a hamburger. Consistently good and the Sweet Potato Fries are unique in that they have a cinnamon sugar coating on them which makes them delicious! They have a very nice selection on their menu of appetizers as well as small plates. Love that they do a southern version of Pimento Cheese among other Southern favorites such as deviled eggs. Prices are reasonable for what you get and we had very good wait service.

BB's Bagels

Anna and Eddie Siino established BB’s Bagels in 2007, having been been baking since 1982 and managing restaurants since 1996 in the New York/New Jersey area. They came south to start anew (with better weather) and found a small diner-type space in Alpharetta that had no true previous successes and thought to resurrect it ….thus BB’s Bagels was born.In just five years time, through tireless work and long hours, BB’s Bagels has become somewhat of a phenomenon. Without any formal marketing BB’s Bagels is blessed with a wonderful, loyal customer following and continues to receive local and national praise: Voted as #1 Bagel in Atlanta and One of the Top Ten Bagels in the United States. Each and every day BB’s Bagels bakes Authentic, New York, Hand-Rolled, Kettle-Boiled Bagels. Also, BB’s offers freshly made coffees, sandwiches, salads, soups and of course, a choice of many cream cheeses and other delicious spreads. As a result of the success of BB’s Bagels, there is planned expansion to take the form of BB’s Express locations.

Sad. Because this place has the best bagels in town. I stopped here today, as I sometimes do on the way to work, got a dozen for my coworkers, and .....$40! $40. That's about what my dinner cost last night...At Ruth's Chris. I asked the guy about it, because it's always been around $27-30. He was very nice as they always are, & began to explain. First he said it's always been that way, which is puzzling because I've never paid that much & always order the same thing.

Flavored cream cheese is extra, $5.50 for a half pound/mid-size container. This flavored bagel, more. That flavored bagel, extra. Slicing, which I knew was extra, $1. Not a big deal of course, that. But $40? Is it because we're in Alpharetta? We've been to NY AND NJ even Las Vegas and we never paid that much for a dozen bagels & cream cheese.

That's great that he explained. Fortunately it was 7:30am on a Sunday. But how are you supposed to get prices on all different individually higher priced items when there's 400 people stuffed into a 6 foot ordering area in a diner car, all screaming out their orders, as what happens most days of the week? You just suck it up & pay whatever, right? Because there's no time. The place is busy, there are people all around trying to order, & I'm usually in a hurry.

We've lived here 30 years. There is a tiny handful of places that you go & you just leave there feeling like you got ripped off. This joins the list as one of those places. The only way I'll go back is if someone's visiting from out of town & they insist on going. Otherwise, no thanks. Good luck BB nice knowing ya. I almost checked "fine dining" just for the principle of the thing.
