A warm welcoming, new modern facilities, the best breakfast
Reviewed By bruno_hohmannWhat a great place for a week of skiing in Sölden. This family owned and managed hotel goes way beyond a regular three stars. Marion and her family do the best to please you throughout the stay. All facilities are brand new and well designed. The sauna at the top floor overlooking the city and the slopes is gorgeous. Breakfast is rich and uses quality ingredients. Location is excellent: right between the city center and the countryside of Sölden, and less than 5 min walk to the lift. Definitely worth staying, I will come back!

Make use of our own ski kindergarden directly in front of our house, while you experience Austria's biggest ski convention "Amadé", with skibus-station at the hotel. But Oberkarteis is not all about skiing. Tobogganing, bonfire, animal-feeding, do handicrafts, all we can assure, that your family has the most from winter break.

Reviewed By Chipolata0We stayed here for the second time. Our kids really wanted to go back. The childcare and children's skiing is fantastic and everybody is super friendly. We had a lovely spacious and very clean room. Only downside we found are the hard beds. The food is fine (not special but good). We have had a great winter holiday.

This place is a masterpiece of creativity and the owners should feel rightly proud of what they have created here. In a World of "me too" hotels which boast the same boring formula, the Kleinsasserhof has had the courage to be different. AND different it certainly is! Pack your most outrageous clothes and get ready for an explosion of the senses!

Reviewed By Colcata45First visit with friends to "Alter Pocher", a family run high mountain restaurants. During a lovely sunny day the four of us enjoyed different dishes which were delicious. One of them a tasty "Kaiserschmarrnn". Friendly service and a marvelous view. A great place for families.

Farm-style skiing vacation
Reviewed By JakubB330We went for skiing-hiking-farm trip to klausner-hof and it was all perfect! We enjoyed natural-style Finnish sauna, with local beers and wine, hike to styrian Bodensee and skiing in close Hauser Kaibling. Florian and Katrin spoiled us with many things, great farm style breakfast or short walk with lama named Balboa and smaller alpaka. Looking forward for summer trip there! Cheers, Jacob

Cosy, Romantic Chalet in Winter wonderland
Reviewed By Jos1610A holiday in Winter wonderland! Everything is beautifully covered with snow and lake almost all frozen. Walchsee is a small village but so beautiful ! Our Host, Bernardette went out of her way for us. She is very nice, friendly, very helpful and speak excellent English. Sent us information beforehand by email - maps, restaurants and activities of the area. Even informed us of high mountain road snow conditions on the day of our arrival. Chalet is very cosy, romantic and warm even though the snow outside. Big bath too. Beds hard to get out of. We wish we could stay longer. The one bedroom chalet had everything; perhaps a spare toilet upstairs would have been ideal. The bakery and restaurants all nearby. Location is excellent and the town is lovely in the snow. Looking forward to staying again. Ideal Location for winter – every morning the bulldozer cleared the snow from the parking area and the paths to the chalets. Once Bernardette and her staff helped us push our car when we got stuck in the snow! Very helpful. Have already recommended the Chalets to my friends.
