Laid back bar with really good food. It's an island bar, not really for the "kids and teens." It was nice since most of the resteraunts in the area where a bit uptight and over priced or packed with families that brought grandma and the kids. For us it was perfect. No kids, no wait, good drinks and a fun and friendly staff. For the childless vacationers, it was nice that we could find a place to eat that was reasonably priced (for the island) without seeing or hearing other peoples little misbehaving children. As for the sticky floors, it's a BAR, why would anyone take there teens to a bar in the first place. Rock on sticky floors for keeping the stuffy clientele away.

Afterhouse is one of our summer favorites. Tucked down under 18 Broad Street it feels like a private little pub from the 1800's. It is a wine and seafood bar that thankfully not everyone gets. Great wine selections and the chilled seafood offerings are always tasty.

If you have a medium budget to spend going out, but you want a good sport restaurant and good food this is the right place. The two visits was attended for same waitress, she was very nice and friendly and she explains well the menu variety. The veggie pizza is delicious as well as the spinach dip and mozzarella sticks. Very recommended sport restaurant to go in Nantucket MA.

great place. friendly staff and priced just right. the deck on a sunny afternoon is always fun. buffet every night or if you want a pizza, wings, ribs or a burger, this is the place to get it. want to have a little family get-together.....the owners will gladly accommodate. great place for kids birthday parties, graduations or any family function. you won't be disappointed. good food at fair prices.

Arriving at the Nantucket Inn early in the evening, we wanted to dine at a place we could walk to. A. K. Diamond's was a pleasant experience. Nice atmosphere, good food and a good value. Staff were very pleasant. A good alternative to the crowds in the downtown area.

John, created an Irish Porterhouse on Nantucket that has become a local and visitor favorite among those who are Irish [although you do NOT need to be Irish to appreciate it!]Even though I am NOT Irish, I will return here many times. From the first floor pub atmosphere with high seats for tall tables and some bench seats with many flat screen TVs AND pool table to the cozy booth friendly [tables as well] sub level with fresh break and a salad bar and bits of steaming soup sides, this is an immediate favorite.The food is great, the atmosphere friendly, and the service grand!

We decided to eat here for lunch after getting off the Hi-Line ferry. Very crowded but they found a table for the 4 of us outdoors. We did get a wonderful breeze. We had the Fish & Chips. The food and service was great.

Casual, friendly pub with live music. Nice cocktails, including some creative alcohol-free selections. My friendâs mocktail was delicious. When the waitress asked how the food was tasting and we reported the clams were rubbery, she brought an entirely new and better batch with apologies from the kitchen. Grilled veggie sandwich and warm lobster roll were tasty. We loved the guitar player who was just loud enough to be heard but didnât overwhelm any chance for conversation, and his excellent song list.

We came here first for a cocktail before we our reservations down the street. The atmosphere was comfortable and the bartender was very friendly and professional. The next night, we came back and the same bartender made some excellent suggestions. The food was very good and service friendly.

Visited on our first night on the island having been travelling all day and after something relaxed and relatively quick.BoT was perfect. The shared starter of calamari was lovely - glad we didnât have a starter each though, the portion was enormous! The burgers were excellent too, especially my chilli burger with homemade chilli, homegrown jalapeños and chilli chocolate on the bun.
