Called into Smilers bar for a drink and decided on cocktails. Unfortunately the drinks were not very nice at all. I couldnât taste the alcohol and two completely different cocktails looked remarkably the same colour. The juices the drinks were mixed with were a weird cross been a fruit juice and a squash. Husband ordered a coke which didnât arrive but it wasnât on the bill to be fair. Left a cocktail as really not too good and went somewhere else. It is a good spot to people watch for sure but I would suggest avoiding the cocktails. Should have played it safe with a good old g and t!

Went there three times in our week here and it was lovely , very reasonably priced , great drinks , good beer and served by Jennifer who was lovely , runs the bar with her mum and dad , nice family business, go and support them , itâs a really nice bar Thank you for your great review, and we are really pleased you had a lovely holiday and enjoyed your time with us. It means a lot to us as a family business to receive comments like this. Hope to see you again soon.

Stopped here on our way out of town. Host very friendly. Burger & chips were fine, quiche microwaved so a little rubbery. Would probably be a good place for a drink/music scene. Not the place for anything fresh or different but totally fine.

I have been coming here for 20 years. Four generations of the family have danced in the bar and rental guests to our villa have been recommended this bar . No problems at all - until this last visit. The baseball-capped bar manager significantly over estimated our bill when we came to settle up after dining elsewhere. Interestingly the drinks waitress came up with a number of drinks that agreed with neither me or the bar manager. My advice is pay as you go and look at the bill. By the way this is a cash only establishment.

So stopped for a quick bite. Setup like every everywhere simple menu which is nice. Everyone seems to sell big meals pizza chips burger chips. This place does sandwiches which is nice when itâs hot price wise

Stopped here for a snack after a long walk, waiter actually threw his eyes to heaven when we ordered a toasted sandwich, it was early afternoon and the place was quiet. Waitress stood over me with her hands on her hips while I ordered a beer. At least it was wasn't just me and my wife that was treated this poorly everybody that was there was treated equally. The toasted cheese and ham didn't even have melted cheese I didn't even think that was possible. Avoid

Definitely the best cocktails in Carvoeiro both in terms of quality (they certainly don't skimp on alcohol) and costs are very good, particularly in comparison to other places Becky & Matt are a lovely couple who make so much effort with all their customers. A huge choice of cocktails on the menu, but if there isn't your choice, they'll make it for you, no matter how obscure! Nice décor, great music and family friendly too. Kool Cocktails played a huge part in making our holiday such a fantastic one and thanks to Matt & Becky for some great nights! We will be back again soon :)Thanks for your lovely review!! Visited with a Party of 14.Service was perfectly timed. Highly recommend the smoked salmon bagel absolutely delicious.Golf course is venue not to be missed.Paige was the politest, professional waitress, Thank You.Wish we had found this gem at the beginning of the holiday.

Went here nearly every night of our holiday as it was the only fun place in carvoeiro that was open late. Karaoke nights are brilliant but definitely go early to get a seat as there isn't many and it gets full very quickly. Live music nights are great too and honestly such a fun atmosphere no matter what's going on. Bartenders very nice and even had a nickname for me and my friends! The owner always greeted us with a smile and hug which was great. Cocktails are tasty and cheap enough and large variety of other drinks too! This is a bar though so it doesn't do food trip advisor needs to change that. Wacky decorations all over the bar which was so cool.

Visited this evening after previously walking past as it doesnât seem that âposhâ for dinner. However with children it was perfect lovely setting, lovely wine. Food fish Captaplana (maybe wrong spelling) traditional dish was lovely. Kids has dinner and ice creams, very relaxed and so were we as it was family friendly. Well worth a visit for families and couples, good local food, produce, wine and atmosphere.Would definitely return for coffee, lunch or dinner
