From my home to the Cozinha da Terra we have to travel 42km. It is therefore a restaurant that deserves the journey, which is not very common. This time we were challenged by a friendly couple who knows the spot and goes there with some frequency. It is a rural house in stone and wood with the typical aspect of the houses of well-to-do farmers of Minho. The starters were very good. The "pataniscas" were not dry and they still had some fry oil, but the taste and texture were nevertheless at the right point. Then I ate a roast lamb that I had not eaten since my youth when the housemaid in our house in Beira Baixa made a roasted lamb that I still remember with longing. The white wine is produced by the owner's family is of excellent quality. We will be back as it is worth the trip!HelloThank you very much for your kind analysisAll the best for you

Fomos conhecer o mosteiro de Bustelo e quando pesquisamos sobre restaurante por perto e lemos as avaliações sobre este decidimos conhecer. à um restaurante extremamente simples e sem nenhum glamour, mas a comida, que tem não tem aparência linda, é extremamente deliciosa. Comemos bifanas, que é especialidade da casa, muito bem temperadas. Adoramos. Super recomendo. O atendimento é muito bom. Muita simpatia por parte de Diana. O preço é muito bom.

We choose this place because they have puff pastry francesinhas and it is so good.I recommend using the facebook to reserve your seats because the place is small and gets overcrowded easily.You will not be disappointed.

In the middle of a small toen Lousada in North of Portugal you find a restaurant with great meat dishes. The service is very good, The owner gives you personal attention and advices you great wines out of his enormous collection of high quality wines. Must do if you are in the area.

A restaurant set in lovely surroundings with a great rustic feel to it ! The owner made us feel right at home. Being a vegetarian I was rather afraid of the choices available for me, since the menu showed no sign of vegetarian dishes. But I was made quite at ease when I was told a few dishes that could be prepared specially for me from a variety of vegetables available. The wine selection was beyond reproach as well. A most enjoyable meal and a promise to return soon!

We have had 2 really nice meals at this restaurant. Food is cooked fresh and the service is second to none. One word of warning is that this place in England would be a sport bar, tele's all over the place.

I recently visited this restaurant with my girlfriend and other friends who live in Lousada. This is a real local restaurant with lovely, tasty local food. We ate fabulous Bacalhau and some beautiful local beef. We drank some of the local red Vinho Verde which went down nicely with this food. The welcome you get here is very friendly and the restaurant is very much open for kids too! Like most restaurants in Portugal! The stmosphere is great if you want to experience real Portugal but be careful on Saturday nights because it gets very busy. A great place to go with friends for a big evening! The prices are good too!

Nothing special, just good.We are living in Portugal for over 10 years now and when we ask for a maduro wine in a restaurant, average price is very reasonable, at average around 7-10â¬. for a good wine. We asked for a bottle of rosé, On the bill they charged us the price of 25⬠for an average wine.
