This is a nice restaurant serving a standard Polish menu with the addition of some pasta dishes. Food is OK and reasonably priced. Service is not particularly good, my main appeared just as my companions were finishing their meals. The table were a bit crammed together.

Its not restaurant but simple,clean, nice eatery. Been few times. My partner and my meal not always were coming together. Soups are nice, every day different soup of day served in vase,portion enought for 3 people for 5PLN (1GBP). They have decent pierogi (dumplings), pancakes with gulash and roast pork is also ok. Prices are one of the cheapest in Szczawnica.All in all not the best food of my life but a good, cheap find for Szczawnica.

The place is locate on top of a mountain right above Szczawnica. Around 1,5 h walk from the centre. Follow the yellow route to Beresnik mountain. The house is REALLY nice, the food is hand made on the spot, views around are spectacular. Check out for events!

in the spa park, far enough from crowds and noice of the town, you can sit on hammoch chairs under nice lightened trees sipping perfect coctails and eating delicious food at very reasonable place. The soft music comes unnoticed and not aggresive, gives a special charm to this place. Extremely friendly staff, menu in English. You will return every evening, as we did!!!!! Definately recommend!!!

Ive been many times in szczawnica and this place is the my true destination point. Forget about fresh air or Palenica or any other attractions in Szczawnica are not relevant This restaurant is the mandatory poit while sightseeing. Very good traditional polish food, cheap and big portion. Potato pancakes with stew and dumplings are near to perfection. Big big big thumb up. Best place in Szczawnica!

If I am in Szczawnica, Bacowka is one od my favorite places I use to visit repeatedly and is worth it. Nice, tasty food, stylish interior, always warm, and nice stuff. And their speciality, lamb, is extra delicious. They might be full and busy, but if you pay them a visit and you don't need to wait to be seated, you shouldn't be sorry.Fajna restauracja, lubje ja. After reading the recommendations, we expected something extraordinary, and their "bohema" - a beef dish, was ordinary. Sprouts which were an addition to the dish were partly moldy. Fortunately, we noticed mold before putting them in the mouth! Carefully check that there is no mold in the sprouts. Prices are rather high for Szczawnica. An elegant, stylish interior that reminds of good old times.

Nice cafe in a historical building with beautifull interior. The coffee and the cakes are very good. Only drawback is that once when we arrived 20 minutes before closing we had to leave - they didn't serve any hot drinks - not coffee or tea. Strange
