Choczewo [xɔˈt͡ʂɛvɔ] (German: Chottschow, Gotendorf (1938-1945)) is a village in Wejherowo County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Choczewo. It lies approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi) north-west of Wejherowo and 64 km (40 mi) north-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

Very tasty and simple meals, based on local food. Good cod fish, and zander, great soups and not bad pizza. Every day some homemade cakes or pies. The young waitresses are friendly, but disoriented. The prices, like for the size of served dishes, absolutely ok.

The location of this venue is fantastic. The renovated watermill. refurbish and adopted as a eatery with many bigger and smaller rooms and three terraces, with the view on the river. Lovely and idyllic. The food appeared good, especially the meals based on the local recipes. Also prices are moderate and acceptable. In the weekends it`s necessary to book the table. The only drawback was quite poor service. The waitress was nice, but unprofessional. The soups were not hot and the dishes were served in a wrong sequence. In spite of this, very recommended address.We invited again - new owner, new ideas :)

The Szlacheckie Gniazdo is an excellent restaurant in Kopalino serving lovely Polish food, plus pizzas and other things. Portions are good sized and the prices are very good value. There is a small children's play area outside and a bandstand where they have occasional live music.Try the steaks, venison, boar, royal kebab or rabbit in cream sauce. Soups are good as well. Try the wild mushroom or Zurek. They also have a large selection of nice Polish beers as well as wines and spirits.The Szlacheckie Gniazdo also has rooms and a group of holiday homes over the road that can be hired.It is advertised on boards for miles in all directions outside Kopalino itself.

During our short stay close to the Polish sea side we wanted to to go to the beach despite the fact it was sunny but cold and windy.When we arrived in Choczewo we decided to do some shopping and at the same time have a coffee so we ended up at Baltyka Kawiarnia.One orders at the counter and picks up the order once ready.The espresso we had was really very good, strong, tasty and sour. My partner also ordered a gofry which is a Polish delicacy that can be compared to a Belgian waffle.One can order it with anything one wants, fruits, ice cream, whipped cream or a combination of it.My partner liked the gofry although it could have been a bit longer baked. The whipped cream was nice as it was not that sweet.I also saw they had soft ice cream so I ordered one and that one was really very nice, enjoyed every bit of it!Definitely an address one can visit for a good coffee and some nice sweets. There is also a restaurant but as we did not use that I cannot judge the quality of the food.

Bardzo smaczne jedzenie i nad wyraz duże porcje - ta z marchewkÄ jest porcjÄ dzieciÄcÄ ! ByliÅmy duÅ¼Ä grupÄ i wszyscy byli zadowoleni, pizza ma oryginalny smak :) Pomimo dÅugiego czasu oczekiwania (jedzenie Åwieże, przygotowywanie przed obiadem) ekspresowo dostaliÅmy ziemniaczki dla dziecka. Jedyny minus to brak klimatyzacji. Na zewnÄ trz jest plac zabaw, a wewnÄ trz kÄ cik dla dzieci. Polecam

Nice eatery, offering also some rooms upstairs to rent. The culinary gem, although this venue is open only for lunch/ early dinner till 5.00 pm / and the daily manu is limited to two, three dishes. In the lunch time very difficult to get table, but itâs worth waiting. The meals are fabulous: fresh, tasty and in spectacular compositions. The knedle/dumplings stuffed with apricots are absolutely unbeatable.

A nice modern restaurant in a small village, very busy if quickly and well served, with pleasant traditional dishes.After the free herrings in cream sauce unannounced starter, very pleasant, we had brains (móżdżek) paté, cold Latvian beetroot soup (chÅodnik), an amazing roasted lamb leg and an equally good wild boar roast with various vegetables and salads, all fully justifying the high price relative to cheap eateries around. Highly recommended
