As part of our tour in Montparnasse we also decided to visit the cemetery. Really worth going there. At the entrance you either use the maps or download them to your cellphone. In the map there is a list of all the famous people who are buried there and the exact place of burial. Very easy and friendly to use. The cemetery itself is very beautiful . I felt very excited standing aside some of the great names which are part of the French history and had great influence all over the world.

I remember place du Tertre from the time I was a child and wow, almost nothing got changed. Only more tourists now. But the charme of the square remains the same. Still many street artists, with all kind of different styles. I love it ! A great place to spend some time and get amazed about some talents at the square.

I'm one who usually opts for the stairs, and never the elevator...when it's reasonable. Beware that the stairs at this station are steep and go on forever. It is legitimately a chore to climb the winding stairs to the top. Fun if you're up for stair climbing, if not, opt for the elevator at this station.

From the square named after her and her statue therein, to her house, and final resting place in Montmartre Cemetery. A must see for all her fans. A bit of a walk (not very long) but expect to go up and down the famous steep streets of the area.

Square with the famous Abbesses Metro station, perfect place to take a photo of the art nouveau style. Lots of great Montmartre cafes and restaurants around. I love you wall nearby. A favorite corner of Paris.
