Rio Borosa

Reviewed By I3109NSjulief - Mijas, Spain

We hiked 20KM from the start to the lagoon at the top and back down, views all the way along the route are spectacular and there are plenty of places en route to stop and enjoy a swim or paddle in the river, we had our small dog with us and he loved the water stops! During the hike there is a mix of shade and sun so be prepared for the heat. Its our second visit to this route and it wont be our last.. truly memorable and if you like nature and the outdoors you will love this area!

The tower has two exhibition halls, the Camera Obscura and the terrace from which you can enjoy wonderful views of CádizIts Cámara Obscura was the first one installed in Spain.

After 30 years this still has to be my most favourite place to visit whilst in costa del Sol. There is a restaurant/cafe on corner called alps Naranjos and they do the most amazing Zumo Tropical (Tropical Juice) all the juices are made fresh whilst you wait and the food is a good choice whether for breakfast or a snack. Worth a visit!

Centro Historico de Estepona

Reviewed By davidbT7408AI - San Roque, Spain

Had forgotten the beauty and serene tranquility of the typical Andalusion villages. Pristine whitewashed houses with tiled rooftops, surrounding a 10th century church which is still in active use. Definately worth indulging in this experience and experiencing what the laid back lifestyle of old Andalucia which is rapidly being lost in the hectic frenzy of modern day life. Fantastic day out for a stroll and walkabout
